southerner88 10 Posted November 11, 2013 Does the other side of the pond do everything differently? Im lost now! Been fleebaying turbo kits for VR6's to see whats out and about. All the refernces from the americans are all for 2.8 VR6 - is this what we call 2.9 VR6 or is it a different model all together? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GT35-23PC-T3-T4-TURBO-KIT-CAST-MANIFOLD-INTERCOOLER-92-05-GOLF-JETTA-PASSAT-VR6-/400605149143?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d45ed77d7

southerner88 10 Posted November 11, 2013 so for once, we got the bigger and better! presumably those Turbo kits would not work for the Euro VR6?

coullstar 0 Posted November 11, 2013 They also had some 12v Mk4's as well and remember there is a difference between RHD and LHS bay set ups. I wouldnt bother with it.
Matt@OCD 0 Posted November 12, 2013 They do work, we've just got in some VR6 turbo manifolds, they're designed to work with all VR engines, 2.8&2.9 12v, 24v and the 3.2. We've got both twin and single turbo, we're just on with checking them over and looking for a test bed for them :)
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted November 12, 2013 It's usually the LHD downpipes that don't work on RHD cars, but sometimes all that's needed is some minor tweaking with the welder. I would avoid the really cheap kits. Things that cheap generally are for a reason!
