Hofmiester 10 Posted January 9, 2014 Yeah, just wondering if there is some sneaky catch like it is actually just plastic, or it is only for the horn cover :) At that price, if it is leather then I'd buy one as re-trimming was quoted at £

Hofmiester 10 Posted January 9, 2014 In English http://shop.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/vwcp/details/search/1346/1H0419091AB1BX Sorry, when I click on that it is all in German. You must be using google chrome with translation on. That is what I used to read it but when you go to the contact form, it doesn't translate and is still in German. I did fill the form in but couldnt figure out how to submit it and so bailed out. I think you might need to be a member or register in some way? Any German speaker/readers out there? MikeVR6 0 Posted January 10, 2014 For just shy of €100 I had mine retrimmed in new black leather with Purple and Red stitching to match the "Storm" theme. They do them on an exchange basis.. http://www.ebay.de/itm/Lederlenkrad-Lenkrad-VW-Golf-3-VR6-GTI-Passat-Corrado-r/140373132939?_trksid=p2047675.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D11%26meid%3D4027742689543033302%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D1005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D140598350714%

Hofmiester 10 Posted January 11, 2014 I've already translated it using google, the issue is that once the form is compete, I can't fine a "send" button of any kind
fendervg 32 Posted January 11, 2014 I speak German, but the guys there have pretty good English and are nice to deal with. Ordered quite a bit off them over time, last bits were the left and right inner door slot trims. They also have parts that are not listed in the online shop. Stonejag 10 Posted January 12, 2014 Brand new G60 for EUR1520? http://shop.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/vwcp/Scirocco-Corrado/Corrado/Antrieb/Motor/G-Lader.html Many parts available very cheaply. VW Heritage's website is terrible, this one's much nicer to use!
Portent 0 Posted January 12, 2014 Can you buy directly from them of do you need to go via Heritage?

Jim 2 Posted January 12, 2014 Has anyone confirmed this part number on ETKA to be the leather steering wheel? Just that I have a vague recollection that VW produced a wheel with the same shape as the Corrado VR6 wheel, but in a cheaper plastic rather than leather finish.. Portent 0 Posted January 12, 2014 I've just tried to email them. It's all a bit hit and miss but hopfully the words plastic and leather translate ok on google :)
Jim 2 Posted January 12, 2014 Nevermind - I just checked. Part number checks out! An absolute bargain!
