Gibbo 10 Posted November 9, 2014 Today i finally got around to fitting my coilovers. Shes not 100% there yet but looking a bit better than when i got her just under a month ago, list of bits ive done so far is- Fit new badgeless grill as original one was faded and flapping about as the clips had gone and fit a vr6 badge off of a mk3 golf (a bit bigger than the corrado one). New gearbox mount. Jetex induction kit. New mats. Fix the leaky drivers door as previous owner decided to remover the membrane (clever chap). New water pump. New disks and pads on the back. Fit the new coilovers and mounts front and back. Give it a single stage machine polish with menzerna sf4500, came up a treat. And fix the annoying squaky front brakes. Thats all so far, but still got a few bits to do over winter to keep me out of trouble. The pics. Before. New grill. Polishing. Coilovers.

Gibbo 10 Posted November 9, 2014 Thanks it looks even better in the metal, I'm obsessed with my DA our eos used to get all the attention but that's all changed now, I'll give it a full compound and polish next year to get any scratches and swirls out. Gibbo 10 Posted November 26, 2014 Had a crack at wet sanding the bonnet at the weekend to try and get rid of the orange peel and rid some of the blemishes came out quite well, still a few defects in the bonnet but there below the lacquer so will probably need repainting at some point.
