Announcement: Change in Classifieds system (Panjo)

Hi all,

 

I know this will be well received by some users...but we are dropping Panjo from our Classifieds section, effective immediately.

 

They have decided to launch a new version of the software in an incomplete state (the biggest ommission being the lack of GBP as a currency) but disable their current version at the same time - leaving us no choice.

 

We will trial running open forums for the Classifieds section.

Try and set some rules for open forum buying and low one that breaks them is band or has a six month suspension or something

Oh well, guess that fixes the double posting issue that has been happening recently but it's back to the in fighting and gazumping!

One of the annoying bugs were that it appeared in Panjo but wasn't copied to the site.

Now I've disabled Panjo, your ad won't exist, so you'll need to submit 'old school'...!

I think I was one of the lucky ones. I listed a couple of items with Panjo and it did actually work for me without any issues. But I do know it was causing a lot of people some major headaches!

Bloody brilliant. Panjo was hilariously bad, even though I did manage to sell a few bits.
