P3rks 11 Posted January 9, 2016 Why did I sell them !!!!!!!!!!!! Show us the VR! Don't get me wrong, MK1's are very charismatic, but Corrados are just a drivers car, so much better! And cooler!

massbad69 10 Posted January 10, 2016 They are 2 cars that are so different, I like the mk1's for their affordability engine wise and there's nothing quite like driving in the highlands of Scotland in the Sportline with the sun out and roof down on proper roads but the VR6 is way more civilised and naughty. I've not driven the C that much yet so roll on Springtime and the whole point of changing for me was that the C was a much better car to drive further in for shows and meets that I just wouldn't have went to in a mk1. Once I get the C upto my standard even though it's spot on just now, I still like to do the needless jobs, then I will make my decision.
44steblues 10 Posted January 10, 2016 I miss my old Corrado and want another. Must be a post August 1993 VR6 (later spec with silver badges and interior) or a very clean G60. Must be VERY good condition, that means no rust, dents or major paint defects. The interior must as good as it can be (no rips, cig burns or major wear etc). I don't mind mods as long as they are subtle, high quality or easily removable. Any colour (would prefer a dark Blue - Aqua, Mystic or Moonlights) Recaro interior preferred bit would settle for a nice leather or cloth. I have £6k to spend but this can stretch for the right car. Happy to travel the country for the right one. Ready to leave an immediate deposit for the right car. Hi p3rks I have a VR6 Storm in classic green that I have owned for nearly 8 years, it has 1 previous owner, but shows as 2 on the log book as it was the previous owners company car and he bought it off them when he retired. It has covered 66630 miles with full service history (23 stamps), it has kW variant 1 suspension, but it is set at standard height, BBS solitudes are in excellent condition, the interior is also excellent. There is no rust at all on the car, but it has got a couple of car park dings which are currently being repaired, along with the fuel gauge (which is temperamental)and sunroof (which only tilts). The abs was fully overhauled last year and works perfectly. I am looking for around 8k but I am open to serious offers. Let me know if you're interested by reply by email, or ring or text on 07775801711. Cheers Steve

The MK1 has a class and charisma which not many cars can beat though! http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?92537-Storm-grey-VR6 They are 2 cars that are so different, I like the mk1's for their affordability engine wise and there's nothing quite like driving in the highlands of Scotland in the Sportline with the sun out and roof down on proper roads but the VR6 is way more civilised and naughty. stuarttaylor37 13 Posted January 25, 2016 Its in Stafford and an older gentleman living round the corner from me is selling it. I'm not sure he is doing a good job of advertising it though...never mentioned its a storm. If anyone wants me to take a quick look/get better photos to see if its worth making a trip yourself then pm me

P3rks 11 Posted February 4, 2016 Thanks Guys, I did see that one a few times but the inconsistent adverts worried me. Either way, the sale of my Rivage fell through - I did everything she asked and more. I really fulfilled her every wish (even as far as removing the seats, pulling the carpet up; removing the heated seats relay and taking the casing off to show the relays are good). I even had a MK1 forum member come view the car for her and note every little thing in a report (this was not a nice experience and I will NEVER do this again). I literally had 20 texts and e-mails a day for around 2 weeks from her asking the most ridiculous questions. But as soon as it came to crunch time with the deposit she dropped out, very quickly. Lesson learnt I suppose. I'll be keeping the Rivage a little longer and will likely be re-advertising come Spring (end of March?) - being a convertible and all.
