How much coolant?

For a 95 Storm.

I've drained the system whilst fitting a new radiator. I presume it's the G12+ stuff I should be buying? How many litres should I buy? Any tips for refilling?

Ideal thank you. iDisk do a search but never bothered reading that one as I though it was just about the fans and thermostats. That'll teach me.

when you get the G13 from VW the bottle has instructions on how to dilute & what ratio. it is on the label which you can peel back ;)

I bought 2 X 1.5 litre of g13 recently. Used about 80 percent of it with distilled water.

Give tge system a proper flush through. If you can get hold of some of the orange vw rad flush use that for a few hours. Drain, flush with clean water and refill.

I popped the hose into the header tank on a slow fill and kept the drain valve on the crackpipe open and did this until the water ran clear. Then refilled with demin water and coolant.

Its a slow process but useful to clear out rust and crud from the system.
