Grrrrallye 0 Posted May 3, 2016 Im looking at getting Vag Com but I am wondering where to get it from? I know Ross-Tech are the US distributor and they list Gendan, V-Tech and ilexa All have very slightly different packages for slightly different prices, I want to be able to communicate with as much as possible not just the VR6. I would like to be able to reset the remote central locking on the other half's MK1 TT and check the codes on an Audi A1 for starters. Any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks
Dox 23 Posted May 3, 2016 Ewe Ross is the producer of VCDS, Rosstech is his company. I bought mine from gendan.
fla 9 Posted May 4, 2016 See if there is someone in your area with vagcom - there's a thread with general locations. I'm in middlesex if that helps?
Grrrrallye 0 Posted May 4, 2016 Unfortunately, there is no one close to me listed and to be honest I really need my own now to look after the fleet.
Tigerfish 10 Posted May 4, 2016 I got mine from ilexa. Where are you?

Grrrrallye 0 Posted May 4, 2016 I'm in Kent between Canterbury and Dover. Sounds like there is a fair split between the suppliers with not a lot to chose between them
Tigerfish 10 Posted May 4, 2016 Typical, had i known, i was in Folkstone over the weekend, with a stop off in Dover and Canterbury on Saturday.
Grrrrallye 0 Posted May 4, 2016 Bloody typical! Did you call into the BHP Show at Lydden by any chance?
Tigerfish 10 Posted May 4, 2016 No, although i did see the posters for it.
dr_mat 0 Posted May 6, 2016 VAGCOM is great, but I found that OBDeleven also works and uses a Bluetooth dongle and your smartphone instead of a laptop and cable. It's also less than £40 all in.
