Hi Lee,

I'm new to this forum and the picture on my Flickr account was one of two that I had.

I gave one away years ago to a work colleague who sold me his G60. He went on to buy a stunning VR6.

There was on on eBay the other year that went for £150.

They were put together by a picture framer in Milton Keynes, 50 in total and were destined for Wayside and other VW dealerships.

Signed by Murray Walker and Jonathon Palmer.

The one I gave away was no.41 and this one is no.45

Think it's up in my loft!

I've seen them quite often on ebay. Just prints mind you so certainly not on the same level as this! Very cool with the signatures on.

Also found this show guide. When I had my G60 I put it on the 1/4 mile sprint against a mk1 golf 2 litre with nitrous oxide. I thought I was doing well as I was halfway along with a 150 metre lead until he switched his nitrous on and left me for dust!

Happy memories:o

A work colleagues friend sold me two of them and at the time he offered me a few more as they were going spare. Never bothered at the time but looking back...

'98 was when I won the Concours with my Scirocco Storms.

Not quite as special or rare as the one above, but if you like the Storm model - see photo?

I think they were issued to dealer showrooms as it has a VW sticker on the back? (I think someone may have done a load of reprints at some point?)

Mine has been up in my loft for last 8 years, and not for sale, but I've seen them crop up on eBay for about £50 if you're interested.

I have just brought one from the link. I was the product manager for the Corrado and had the photo taken in the photo studio in Milton Keynes. I can’t remember why I never had one.

No I retired in 2004. The Storm was my idea and I commissioned the photo. Oh happy days.

Why just Mystic blue as a Storm only colour (when you just used a current colour for the classic green)?

Was the Scirocco storm also your idea?
