seanl82 23 Posted January 19, 2018 I just used hammerite on mine. It's a good all rounder and cheap enough. I'm sure it'll last 10 years plus which is good enough for me as I'll likely have to replace them by then anyway. fla 9 Posted January 19, 2018 Yeah ive also put them in the ultrasonic cleaner for about 40 mins each. I've just got an injector pulse unit and I'll be making up something to blast them with carb cleaner as they're being pulsed. That'll be good enough for me. markcunningham 10 Posted January 22, 2018 I did mine using step down tubing down to carb cleaner tube and it worked great. Make sure to back flow test. Geeba 0 Posted January 22, 2018 I was going to research new injectors.. surely there are revised or updated items that offer better atomization and performance that will fit the VR? - these are at the end of the day 25 - 30 year old injectors. I know Kev was running Mazda RX8 items, but he had standalone management and big HP so I don't think they will couple up well with the stock ECU.. Anyone bought new/revised injectors? I carb spray/pulsed all 6 on my 180K VR and have no issues at all!
