ryan_welshman 10 Posted February 22, 2018 Hello rado lovers! Heater matrix has started leaking again, happened 2 years ago so did the job of replacing hoping I wouldn't have to do it for my years. Sods law that it's now packed in and leaking everywhere! I want to buy a new one but don't want to buy one to find its crap. Euro car parts seem to do 2 for mine, they don't seem any different. (See pic.) Any suggestions on best place to go to for a quality one? Cheers Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
seanl82 23 Posted February 22, 2018 I wouldn't trust that brand. Very budget! GSF have a premium one, which was Hella when I bought it. Others have had Valeo from them which is who supplied VW genuine ones. Worth a call to your local stockist to see which manufacturer it is though. As with most things, buy cheap, buy twice. Cressa 44 Posted February 22, 2018 Valeo one everyday. Most people get that recommended on here. Check ebay as they usually have them. You don't want to be doing this job so often Good luck Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Gonna try the method of taking heater box out without having to take the dash out. Was just a pain last time! Will see which method I'll find better haha Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Cressa 44 Posted February 22, 2018 And recover your heater box flaps whilst you have it out, unless you already have done so. So nice not to have bits blowing out of the vents and in your face. Also nice knowing the air blows where it should when this is done Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Much better with a cloth cover on them! Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Diesel Junior 0 Posted March 19, 2018 Good luck with this nightmare job. IIRC on the Canadian Corrado forum there was an explanation of how to do this without taking the dash out. Lots of photos too....
