An outstanding refurbishment,  which is only to be expected by you. Pushing it to the next level as always, looks fantastic 👌

Made a start on sorting the engine. The last major job before the final re-assembly ready for next year.

An engine good enough to match your engine bay. Keep it going💪

Looking Fantastic Chris 🥰

Cheers Kippy, in your expert opinion, am I over restoring the car should I ever decide to enter it at somewhere like Stanford?

Hi Mate,

It's a difficult balance isn't it. The work you are doing can be seen as a little excessive and being a little too much but in reality you are just presenting metalwork a lot closer to how it looked originally but with a better finish than it had at the time.

There will always be some that will say one thing or another but if the presentation is sympathetic to how it used to look I would personally prefer that.

Keep it up mate it's looking fantastic. 👍

Hi,

Can I ask, what did you do about the dash area wiring where most of the harness sponge tubes had dis-integrated, did you re-loom with felt tape or what, to avoid potential noises inside the dash ?

I took all the foam off and wrapped it in wiring loom tape which is a bit like felt stuff. It’s all clipped in well so shouldn’t rattle
