fendervg 33 Posted June 14, 2020 Ah ok - I think it might be the same part as 16v Golf Mk3, so should be easy enough to find, but someone else on here with the same setup should be able to confirm. Usually with the sender it's either the wiring back to the dash has become damaged or the tracks on resistor have become damaged. I think you should get 12v or 5v down one of the wires with the ignition on, and then that passes through the track for the float and back to the gauge. Thanks Yeah I believe so just the lift pump and the strainer, plus the small adapter, are used on the MK2 16v golf also from roughly 1990 to 1992 VW Heritage had those 3 items on the shelf when I ordered them, but the rest is special order from Classic Parts.
