Its takes a long time to wire the rear glass out but the one side is very obsolete- worth disk cutting the glass out with the frame surround.

The rubber perimeter seal is also very obsolete right now and should pull out.

Pull handle on a pillar has x2 special speed nuts pull them out.

Tailgate push rod plastic buffer plate is extremely obsolete and rare - need to squeeze with pliers under it to remove without damage. Also the tailgate loading trim is very rare.

I think the best way to get the glass is to angle grind the shell seam and b pillar, then dissect the seam piece by piece to get the glass and seal intact. A couple of hours work tho and no guarantees you’ll get the glass intact….

Good question to me they are worth keeping spare - for example glass a  windscreen now sells in the USA for 1000 dollars as obsolete - although there is one guy bringing them in a bit cheaper now from Europe. They get damaged through removal - seals perish - break inns -  debris damage.

What is the obsolete side worth to someone who needs one- depends how cruel you decide to be lol- certainly an essential spare now - folks dont realise yet about these rear windows- shaun managed to get one new one for his rado but the other one is a no go.

This is how much they are new for the one side.

https://www.mecatechnic.com/en-GB/custode-arriere-gauche-teintee-vert-pour-vw-corrado_C184594.htm

They are on ebay for 150 used- if you was local i would lend you my petrol disc cutter - same type you see pavers use but with a metal blade- i also chopped out the rear vw badge plate on the tailgate - plus the whole drain panel under the windscreen. Turrets as well are a good cut- also whole filler cap on rear panel area

Front inner wings up to the turrets have already gone to a member here

is £50 about right for an engine top cover?

I have somewhere, I don't know what they look like (2 years since I removed the fogs) and don't really want to cut looms ATM.

Who drive Corrados in fog anyway lol (we should all sell them and book a cruise with the proceeds?)

No offence meant

🤣🤣 no one in a corrado agreed. They were to go into a mk2 golf loom I am making. Something else that will probably never see fog either
