Drop a PM to H100VW on this forum! He is Mr Headlight Loom! :)

They're £50 delivered, but are top notch quality :)

or make your own for under £20

But that would involve having the ability to do so without making a complete fire-inducing bodge of it :D

Russ, PM on its way.

Jim and Dom thanks for the kind words.

As jedi-knight83 says, you can make one for less money but could you actually make it?

if i knew whats wires had to go where i could make it no probs cos the lads that i work with range from electritians through jetengines to airframe guys. so im pretty sure that we could knock 1 up, but its the hassle of it and dont know if i can be arsed to do it when i can get 1 ready made.

I got all the instructions off the Matey-matey website and have an electrical and electronic engineering degree but I still ended up buying one of Gav's looms 'cos I just couldn't be bothered to make my own! 8)

They're top quality and well worth it.... 8)

I made one myself using the instructions on my web site (matey-matey) and it is very simple but for the extra £20 or so I would probably buy one. If they were any more than £50 I would say make your own but for £50 buy one......

You will then be able to enjoy driving your car at night as well as during the day :D

or if you want to go even further........

This one ties the fogs into the main beam - both when you flash your lights at someone (far more noticeable at night!) & when you switch on the full beam.

Using the relays also means that when not on full beam, the fogs work exactly as before with the separate fog light switch .

PS Double check it before hooking it up! Shouldn't cost much more to knock up either!

Red wires are hi-current, Blue wires are low-current.

Borrow a standard Scirocco for a few days and you'll change your mind about dim lights on a Corrado :)

And might I suggest a set of Osram SilverStar bulbs to use with your nice new loom?

http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk - Excellent company to mail order from.

The Osrams are fantastic. Pure white light. No more dingey candle light.....

...adds it to the ever increasing list of bits to get for his C
