VR6 aqua blue, new chains, tensioners and FULL service history Gutted to have to be putting this advert up but a new camper van means she has to go. This car has been very well looked after as you can see from the pictures, i have just done a pretty extensive rebuild of many parts listed below and more importantly have just done all the chains and tensioners with a new clutch (quoted ?1k for this work at stealth) New chains New tensioners New clutch Wiring loom tidied and re-wrapped during this work All 4 calipers wire wheeled and re-painted, flushed and rebuilt with new seals and bleed nipples, new discs and pads all round. All flexi hoses changed for braided All hard lines replaced New wheel bearings all round New coilovers New top mounts New ball joints New track rods (inner and outer), new steering gaiters New drivers side hub New drivers side cv joint and boot New abs sensors up front Suitcase section of exhaust removed for stainless pipe 90mm splitter on currently (but does scrape on speed bumps) 45mm splitter included which would mean no more scraping Crack free fog lights, headlights and indicators New lenso bsx 16 inch alloys (bbs split rim reps) with new-ish yokohama s-drives. Spoiler works fully at speed and on the button, as does all the other electrics (windows and mirrors) Sunroof tilts but unfortunately doesnt slide Buyers manual included with booklets and service book - listed below are all the service stamps 7,621 11,910 16,028 27,189 32,255 41,109 48,990 56,199 64,686 67,950 77,311 85,311 88,459 102,037 115,853 124,481 133,697 143,467 152,893 156,786 Current mileage is 158,500 More info and my story can be found in my build thread - http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=83671&page=13 I've probably forgotten loads, and I'm not a salesman so dont really do sales shpeel. I've put the price at 3k knowing people will use that as a marker to knock me down so i will take a reasonable offer. But please dont insult me with a stupid offer when you havent even viewed the car. You can see from the history it has been looked after and my thread shows how much ive looked after it. I'll upload some pictures on tapatalk and add things as i remember them List Date: 12/13/2014 Location: Nuneaton, United Kingdom For more info, click here to view the original listing: VR6 aqua blue, new chains, tensioners and FULL service history -------------------------------------- SOLD -------------------------------------- Mobile friendly version: VR6 aqua blue, new chains, tensioners and FULL service history Go Mobile: Download the free Panjo iOS app now!

have a look at my build thread, I've recently put some lenso BSX on in 16 inch size. Not sure on the ET tho, i'll try and have a look in the light in the morning. They drive brilliantly and look great IMO. I did have 17's on before and the ride was pretty poor, but that could have been due to the other stuff i changed before fitting these new wheels (top mounts, bearings, shocks etc) http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=83671&page=13

VW Lupo GTI Wipers - Corrado Conversion Kit - SOLD
feeenix14 replied to JonnyHull's topic in Parts for Sale
Payment sent woohoo !! Chuffed !! -
please dont sell this for £3K !! It will make mine practically worthless !! I think its got to be worth nearer the 4k mark. Too many corrados being sold too cheap at the minute and yours shouldn't be one of them bud.

New tax rules. Thinking of selling. Panic or not ??
feeenix14 replied to feeenix14's topic in General Car Chat
I'm not particularly bothered about it i just wanted to check what the crack was so i had an idea nearer the time. I suppose i just think it looks better when advertising a car that it has full mot and tax but those days are now history. I cant see a problem if someone turns up and decides to buy, then uses my wifi while we do paperwork and drink tea to tax their car online using their phone and takes a screen grab for proof that tax has been paid just in case the worst happens and they get pulled over because the system has taken time to update. From having a further look round i think most peoples panic/moans have been because if you sell with 3 weeks tax left you cant claim that back so potentially could lose out on nearly a months tax when claiming back - but i thought that was the case anyway when you sent a disc back ? Anyway its changed now and theres nowt we can do about it, and like you say I'm not a car dealer so wont be affected greatly thanks for the input tho peeps. -

Jeezus. Thats flippin madness. I hate selling cars and this is just something else to add to the stress. I suppose I'm better off putting the car on SORN at the end of the month then if i definitely decide to sell. -
I think a few people on club lupo put audi r8 caps on stuff in their engine bay but no idea how much that costs or if they will even fit on our bits and pieces.

So I've been mulling over selling the rado for a while (initially due to a new job, now I'm thinking of getting a camper van) and i got my tax reminder through yesterday because my tax runs out on Oct 31st. I read a few threads saying that problems will occur when people buy and sell new cars with the new tax system. Is there still the thoughts of impending doom ? or can i just go online and buy 6 months tax for my car and sell it with six months tax ? I wont be doing the direct debit thing but someone at work told me that if theres a few months tax left on your car when you sell it you have to claim it back and the new owner has to get their own tax ? That cant be right surely ?

Wow. This forum baffles me sometimes, the guy has bought a car he wanted and now realises its not for him at this time. I think we have all made similar mistakes at some point. From what he's said he has had work carried out using OEM parts by professionals so i hardly think the car has been "through the mill" - has my car been through the mill because I'd rather struggle doing the work on it myself rather than pay expensive labour costs at VW or any other pro garage for that matter ? Good luck with the sale bud and hopefully at some point you will be back. I think you should try and find the last corrado that was ever produced, that way you can say you've had the first and the last !!

If there isn't a nuclear threat anymore then there will be no more James Bond films !! What will Daniel Craig do !?! Sprint into a room have a quick glance at a map, shrug and say "the army can handle that . . . I'll get my coat" there will be no more end of the world scenarios that require him to sprint everywhere and take his top off on a tropical beach !! And no more conversations i have to have with the Mrs when she says she thinks he makes a good Bond and i say its only because of his body, to which she replies "no, i genuinely think he is a good James Bond". Pipe down woman !! He has the face of a melted waxwork. Look at his pecs. Look at em !! I got sidetracked, in all seriousness political negotiation is always centred on power. Nuclear deterrent = power. We need em.
