  1. Green VR this morning next to a pub at the top of Derry Hill just outside of chippenham.
  2. Well driving home today and 5th gear has gone completely :( I have Dave's short shifter fitted also so I don't think it's the shifter
  3. I've currently got the same issue with my box although its a 20vt conversion I have no idea what gearbox is in there at the moment.Interested to hear peoples thoughts on this!
  4. why thank you! Currently building up my new wheels and hoping to have them on by the weekend! Offsets are pretty crazy so expect some poke :)
  5. Bumping this thread back up for any new Igers :) Liam20vt
  6. I've only used Tesco's 99Ron fuel in my 20vt rado once and never again! Car ran like poo, had issues starting in the morning - would cut out if i wouldnt give it a little rev - just felt really underpowered. Whenever I get the opportunity to run shell V power the difference is day and night (There are no Shell garages in my local area) Feels alot smoother/faster. I only get to use Esso premium, which to be honest for the price i pay (£1.32) a litre its pretty good stuff.
  7. I went - Unfortunately I only took pictures with my Iphone. Only saw about 5 corrados in total, one of them was mine haha
  8. I think I noticed it for sale on edition38 but may have been on pistonheads also. I believe it was located in Scotland somewhere?
  9. Wasnt this for sale recently at around 8k?
  10. Awesome :), I didn't realise there are so many in the area! I only know of 2 including yours haha. Are there any corrado meets round here?
  11. Thanks for sending the Image over. Weren't they meant to be silver? :)
  12. Just fitted Dave's short shifter and what can I say.. What an absolute amazing piece of kit! Straight forward to fit and the gear travel has been drastically reduced and all feels very tight. Couldn't recommend this enough to anyone thinking of buying one. Thanks very much Dave! One very happy customer :). I aim to send my old one back to you sometime next week.
  13. Haha That was me :) I did clock you waving, but was to slow! You have the green VR right? I think you followed me from bowood a few months ago :)
  14. Potentially interested in these, have you got any pictures? Thanks
  15. I had KW's on my 6n2 and they were awesome, very comfortable coilovers. Currently have Weitec Hicon GTs on the corrado, rears are wound all the way down and fronts have about 10 threads left.. Rock solid and bouncy as hell! Handles well though :) I would deffo recommend the KWs if your budget will allow it :)
  16. As owen has said 195/45 is a fair bit of stretch on a 9 (I currently run 215/40 on a 9) which is perfect for a rado i think.

    Rear arch work

You will probably need to roll your arches for a start, possibly smaller tyres. What size tyres are you currently running?
  18. What fuel filters are people using? car is originally a 2.0 16v, will this be sufficient?
  19. Yesterday evening around 5:45pm spotted a red corrado possibly vavler? Chippenham roundabout by the esso garage, was in the rado but dont think you noticed me
  20. Just another quick update... I've noticed that my exhaust note seem's rather muffled / quieter than usual. On overrun it would pop and bang like mad whereas now i can hear a very muffled pop and thats it, almost seems like something is blocked in the exhaust?
  21. So after driving home from work I noticed that I couldn't always hear the boost properly but it was intermittent. sometimes I could hear it very well like you should and other times it was almost like there was no turbo ( would this mean a boost leak? Or something more serious?). Tried the throttle cable and it did seem pretty normal to me, pedal still feels very stiff?
  22. Thank you Dox, something to try later this evening!
  23. Thanks for the reply Paddy. I dont think the car has a diagnostic port (running Qpeng management) which is very frustrating as its basically all sensors as you pointed out. Sticky turbo could be a good point actually, low down pickup seems to be a little laggy...:(
  24. Oops probably should have mentioned that, Camber is only the front. The rear is just natural camber, however there is alot more room in the rear arches.. never have any issues with the rears with regards to clearance issues! Hope this helps
