I've had exactly the same problem, sometimes get no crank, sometimes a few second delay, sometimes starts instantly. New starter motor has made no difference. New ignition switch seemed to cure it but then happened again a few days later. Battery is recent and strong, been on a trickle charge too. What does that leave? Engine earth - are there more than one? Where are they? Thanks!

The car went to the garage last week with both front covers on, but came back with one missing. Of course they know nothing about it and weren't too bothered either! So it might be a long shot but I'm looking for a front nearside towing eye cover, for a late VR, if that makes any difference. Any help much appreciated!

It is dated 47 2007, which I'm assuming is week 47 of 2007. I've had it on the car for 2 and a half years, and only 8000 miles, without missing a beat. Earlier history: I'm told it was bought as a spare and stored for the most part. I've no reason to think that isn't true, but I can't be absolutely certain.

I have a full interior available from a 95 VR6. Includes front and rear seats, rear centre arm rest and all door cards. No rips, tears or holes. Had a busy few days with the Corrado, I've had to move it from the garage it was stored in for the winter, due to flooding. We've had biblical amounts of rain up here recently! But this has pushed me into getting some jobs done! Front pads and discs and brake fluid flush, front wishbones, balljoints, track rod ends, suspension struts and top mounts. And as part of that had to take the sump off to get at the wishbone bolt so renewed that leaky sump gasket. No more oil leaks and now pretty much the whole front suspension is new, and it feels sooooooo much better. The shockers were in a disgraceful state, no resistance at all. Its going into the garage today for full exhaust system, including cat which is blowing, the rest of the exhaust was bought from stuart taylor (good buyer and seller!) a couple of years ago, finally getting round to putting it on. Slowly getting there, happy with all the mechanicals now, and it runs like new at the moment (never know what is round the corner!). One or two bits of cosmetic work to do, hopefully all done in time for the National Day at Harewood House in August.

Their price list says £88+VAT for full leather. No wonder it went quick, even with a knackered bolster.

I just phoned them up, sadly the leather interior has already gone. Someone has picked up a real bargain there!

After a year of ownership, finally seen another Corrado today in Burnley. I was so surprised I didn't get the number plate as it whizzed past on Manchester Road! Looked like an Aqua Blue, K reg with clear rear lights. Anyone on here?

Has anyone got a spare please? Mine has packed up, fuse is good, and 12V at the connector, but no humming from the pump. Any offers appreciated. Ian

Had the same issue with mine about a month ago. The selector tower on the gearbox wouldn't lift up to engage 5th, all the other gears were fine. Managed to find a replacement tower from another forum member and swapped it over. Its only a couple of bolts to get the tower out, and if you have a good one off your old box it may be an easy thing to try.
