Does anybody know where I can get my hands on a set of the "side marker" lights the us spec corrados had? I know they are not available from vw anymore :-( did anybody know a place who still sells them? Thank you.

hi people, i have a really strange problem with my car. its a 1989 (g reg) 1.8 16v corrado (kr engine) it was working fine the other day, went to get in it the next day and it wont fire oveer :-( i have checked all the ignition and there is a brilliant spark coming from the plug (so know all thats working fine) all the fuses are fine, and when you turn the key all the fuel pump makes its priming noise. it all sound and does as it should but just wont start. does anybody think just because the fuel pump makes its prime noise that it still might be knackered? or there is a blockage in the fuel line/filter all of a sudden? the filter is only 8 months old. there was no warning or anything building up to this (Thursday its was running like a dream, Friday it just wont start) it has to be something with the fuel? it turns over fine but wont even make a splutter or noise to start. (like its out of petrol) which i know it has loads in. any help would be brilliant. thank so much everybody, appreciate you looking.

Hi people, I don't know if anybody could help me? Does anybody have a new/mint chrome Vw badge they would like to sell for my corrado? I have a 1989 car and would love a nice new Vw badge for her now it's had it's new paint. Can anybody help, there a few on eBay but they are all tatty. Would get a mk3 golf one (as I hear they fit with a little mod)? But really want a proper one!! Any help would be brilliant!! That's for looking. 🙏🙏

Hi people, can anybody hep me out? I need a new vw badge for my car. Have phoned vw and they don't sell it anymore. Is there any other models that will fit or work? (I.e later model) or other vw models "golf" etc.. Might be able to find an old 2nd hand badge, but they all look rundown now. Or is there anywhere where you can get a good one? Thanks for looking people. Hope someone can help :-)

That's what I thought, all the ones I find are off later cars.. I'm not sure if my dash is bigger or smaller there the facelift model? (Where the dials sit, under the ash tray) if later models are smaller would be easy to make something for them to fit in, be hard to make the dash hole bigger tho..

Hi people :-) can anybody tell me if the vdo dials and the face (that fits under the ash tray) will fit in a early model corrado? I know mine has slide heater and the ones built in 1993 onwards has the "turn style" controls.. Could I make them fit? Thank you.

Thanks for all the comments people :-) appreciate it, yes im after the indicators (turn signals) at the front next to the fogs. orange like the ones in the 1990 cars had. i think they look awesome. seem hard to find tho. really dont fancy using a film or paint. i keep looking :-(

Hi corrado lovers :-)can anybody help me? I need to replace the front fog light bulbs in my 1.8 16v (g reg) corrado, can anybody help me on how to get the fog lights out as I'm stuck and don't want to break anything. Thinking of putting l.e.d bulbs in to replace the standard ones as well. Do they just pull out? Hope someone can help me? Thanks for looking :-)

I have a one with a small buld in the passenger side (same a number plate bulb) style in it. Just has the on off function. The driver side has a bigger bulb which comes on when you open the door. :)

I have just bought a brand new interior light for my 1.8 16v (g reg) but the connection on the back of the new light is for 4 pins, my car light has only 3. The light looks the same (old style version) if I got the connector (4 pin) off another car and wire it to my loom will it work ok? Does anybody know what the difference is? Thank you :)

Mine has never just stayed on for 10 seconds, just comes on when you open the door and them goes of when it's shut. Maybe it was a later feature? Mine is a (g reg) 1.8 16v

Mine stays on all the time, was working fine for years, now have this problem. I bought a new light. Been messing about again today. Seems the connector on the loom has a doggy/loose wire coming out of it? Gonna try get the bit that comes off the loom and connect it to mine.. Get it from someone breaking one, hopefully will be that?? (Hopefully) lol.

Hi people, I have a problem with my interior light :-( it always stays on, when you shut the car door the light won't go out now, I have bought new striker switches, cleaned all the connections around them, checked the wires in the door and which run through the door(which seem fine) it's strange if you play with the striker switch (in/out) from time to time the light will dim and flicker (like it wants to go out) is this a doggy earth somewhere? Where is the earth? My car is a early model 1.8 16v, it just strange cause if you hold it down with your finger (as if door is shut) it will flicker sometimes, could anybody help? Thank you.
