can be done and its done but its tricky controling all that boost. A 20v head with a supercharger spooling up a big turbo would be a real weapon :twisted:

u dont need a dump valve for g60 as it alerady has one that does the same function as a dump valve mechanicaly.For tuners you got darren 8vg60 and for chips and stuff you got Bilal SNS tuning Dubcharged.

check spark timing on the distributor,advanced or retarted timing can cause this and also have an effect on your fuel consumption.

thats a really good idea man,what programs do you guys use for photoshop? I use Jasec Paintshop Pro, which is pretty rubbish really but i should be getting Photoshop soon.... Have you made any creations? not really as i havent had much time latley but ill try to do some.

true but if you got a big enough and efficient intercooler you wont need water spray. I got the porsche 944 intercooler on my G60,works v nice and the front mount location is very usefull,i also have a water spray system installed but i never use it because is really inecessary as the intercooler never gets hot even when standing still. Im runing a new charger on a small pulley and the tourque the car provides is amazing.

Need help with my crankshaft. The lips on the crankshaft are worn and the pulley moves from side to side,had the car go out of phase 2wice and luckuly i didnt bend eny valves. i will replace the crankshaft but at hte moment im stuck outside UK and i need to sort out hte car before i depart fpr the trip back home. Does anyone know if a crankshaft from mk2 or mk3 or passat is hte same as the G60 crankshaft. If so is there any specific parts that i will need when the mechanic replaces hte crank. i cant really trust the mechanics here so is htere anything i should watch out for another thing is htat is quite hard to get hold of a g60 crank and if they different from all other vw im screwed. Any tips greatly appreciated. Rgds miguel g60

ok checked the plugs and they seem fine,idle is ok ,boost on iddle is 740 on the mfa,my boost pipe popped of yesterday,im screwd :x

my g60 is making some knocking sound and it has lost power,its not from the charger as i have taken the charger belt off and the noise is still there,what could this be?? sounds as it is coming from the outlet manifold,it idles fine,im so scared as its just before im will depart for a long trip,anyone got any ideas?? rgds

an optimum temp is about 95-100C. I had my g60 go up to 128C 2 days ago but was really hot outside. Now with the new oil cooler it stays at 90-100C range,its a must for a g60 specially if you are runing higher boost. Oh and at night time my oil temps go up to 160C :lol: bad earth

got the cooler from burrton power for £58 including hoses and bends,that is a 13 row cooler. the sandwich plate i got from demon tweeks for £15 (its not a thermo switch plate that costs £30). All in all it cost me about £90,not bad considering the change in temps.

I fited my oil cooler today and saw an huge temp drop,from 120C i used to get on hard driving now it never goes above 96C even when in traffic,and my coolant seems to stay at 70C,i think this is a bit to low :? ,oil seems ok,on motorway driving oil tepms stay at 87C. Im using a 13 row mocal cooler. Now i can thrash it withour looking at my oil temp every second. If temps stay this low i might consider changin the location where it will get less air so it wont cool that much.

vr6's tend to run hot but that is to hot and should be less when you on the mway

you maybe conected the wires somehow to discharge or reset the whole system while you were doing your system. You wont be able to change it (if you talking about the main milage read) so dont complain :D .
