  1. Cheers guys. H/wash does seem rare on C's. Dumps a load of water on the front of the car when activated. Great for getting tailgaters to back off on the motorway - they get hit by a tidal wave of washer
  2. Side strips are still on there mate! Better get off this thread - sorry OSV
  3. Cheers fella. :D You've missed some mods though!
  4. You're not looking hard enough LOL!
  5. Choose a nice sunny day and lightly build up the coats, placing the lights in the sun between coats. As long as you are patient and build the coats up lightly you can't go wrong
  6. Cheers Bally. I used Foliotec red tint spray - Halfords do it, but bloody expensive - about 12 quid for a tiny can!!
  7. Likewise Brookesy. Yep the striped finish allows enough amber thru to flash amber. Using a green bulb gets them near enough to the same intensity amber as untinted lights :D My car gets thru its MOT no problem with these lights.
  8. Yep, the green bulbs make a big difference to the amber-ness, def recommended. Pic of mine.
  9. Cheers dude :D Yeah, I noticed that yours were more red all over. Look very smart :D Do they flash amber ok mate? Asim
  10. Brookesy, as OSV will tell you, that method of tinting the rear lights was my idea Asim (met you on the way in with Dom)
  11. I think a debadged grille (in black) would suit your car well Gareth. Personally I think the headlamp surrounds in black would make it look even better. Asim
  12. Looking good mate :) Nice wheels and lights  What can I say, great minds think alike :D Asim
  13. Good to see ya too mate
  14. Good to meet you last night Chris, nice C you got there :) . An unbelievable turn out of cars! The entire place was full/overflowing with veedubs! Will post up some of my pics when I get a chance. Thanks for the pics of my car :D Asim (VR6 070)
  15. I have a ABS pump available - off a Corrado VR6 that had covered only 52k if you need one.
  16. The AC switches above the cigarette lighter are for factory fitted AC only. Factory fit AC was only available on LHD cars. All UK RHD cars with AC were dealer fit only. They mostly fitted Diavia kits. The offical Diavia kits for the Corrado went out of production in 1995, hence some late cars had "hybrid" Diavia kits made up. The full complete Diavia kit for the Corrado had a norm & max button panel which was fitted in the switch bank on the dash, or alongside the headlight switch (replacing the blank) - it's position often depended on the options fitted to the car (eg. heated seats). Some of the hybrid kits did not have the norm/max switch panel, and so had a different set of switches. I've seen 1996 Corrados with the switches along side the handbrake on the centre tunnel. The norm switch turns the AC on. The max switch closes an electric flap on the air intake in the scuttle, so causing the cabin air to recirculate thru the AC and so making it colder. Also blocks out the fumes from outside the car (eg stuck in traffic). The Diavia kit is ok with regard to reliability - but much depends upon the monkey who fitted the kit to the car hen it was new. Unfortunately many kits have literally been thrown into the car, which will spell disaster us a few years down the line! Just be prepared to spend some money on the system, as it's very likely going to need some attention. 95 VR (with Diavia air con)
