  1. Balls, it's not an ABS sensor, doing some more investigation. What's the worst it could be and th costs?
  2. I loved working at GM Head Office and BMW Head Office, unfortunately I was on contract but Porsche can only be better! I'll do my best in the interview and see what happens. Zippy - will PM now! ']['H3R4POR - Polk by chance? It would certainly be helpful knowing their Aftersales T/O last year and the target this year Thanks for all the good lucks! :-)
  3. It's actually a very expensive modification. Here is how to recreate it: - Drive about 10-20 mph into the back of a VW Touareg V10 with sport bumper while braking hard so the front dips. As you can tell this is quite a costly and dangerous mod. But make sure if you see another one like this, remember, you saw it here first!
  4. Cheers Dude! What sort of information? The more info the better as far as I'm concerned!
  5. Just got a call from Porsche on Friday and I am through to a final interview in two weeks time!!! But I've just started a permanent job with Samsung at the beginning of July and they have spent so much on my training etc. I really want to work for Porsche but I'll feel so bad handing in my notice
  6. Now prepare yourself guys! This is a one off, completely custom MK4 Golf TDI, there is not another like this! Exterior: - Not just debadged but DEGRILLED!!! Custom Power Bulge Custom Driver's light with bottle caps Black W "floating grill badge" this now has a copyright!!
  7. As long as it doesn't get Angel Eyes and Parking Sensors from the new owner lol
  8. Ben - wash your hands lol Good feature! I like the Chimera dash alot!
  9. I think OSV has a Supersprint but not 100% sure Janspeed is really really really bad - sorry I've just been boring and put a Magnex on with an oval pipe but it's great quality
  10. Everything was sorted, on the way to MOT and the ABS light came on - fooker! Back on the machine and shows up as front left connector. I hope this is just a wheel speed sensor. That should be the last thing to sort out!
  11. Do it Dude! You know you want it! mailto:biggerbigben@yahoo.com - taken from http://www.coupehaus.co.uk/ben_for_sale.html
  12. Purchased a Magnex cat back system with oval pipe which should be fitted tomorrow! Handbrake assembly is sorted Electrics sorted Bring on the next MOT!
  13. Cool, thanks for that, didn't know if there were any special brackets required as it didn't come with a full fitting kit Thanks
  14. Well done mate, must have been difficult writing that, some lucky bugger is going to get all of your hard work for a fraction of the price.
  15. Hi All Just bought a Magnex cat back for a VR6 Does anyone know whats required for the fitting kit? I've got 1 clamp and the rear hanger bracket Sorry for the dumb question, it's being delivered straight to the garage so don't want them to have to source other parts themselves Cheers Neil
  16. Always nice when your guy at the garage phones you up and says "who's been playing with your car" Needs new handbrake cables and mechanisms - been wound too tight Needs a whole new exhaust - it is the original though so 13 years of service is pretty good, going to get another standard one. A bit more investigation required on the electrics Awaiting the next call, hopefully doesn't require any new parts
  17. holy moly, you won't be able to shut the bonnet! How much could that turbo push out? I take it you will be doing the internals also, I've got a bad feeling you are giving Radford ideas!
  18. Booked the old girl in to a specialist on the 5th Sept to have everything done, have no time to do anything at the mo and want it fixed asap. If I had time it would obviously be cheaper but hey ho, will be good to go for a legal drive soon.... Unfortunately it won't be ready for ED38 but hopefully the next No Rice
  19. cough wa$kers cough meow Failed MOT on off side rear caliper not working (on handbrake only) and exhaust blowing cheap easy fixes but I have to pay another £44 again! Nearly £90 to get an MOT! I thought there was a £20 re-test barstuards
  20. Hi People Sorry for asking such a stupid question, but I have no idea? I though all VR6's had black plastic parts for interior but my one seems a bit more grey, but not as grey as some 16v I've seen. Any help is much appreciated as I'm trying to source some parts http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... c&start=15 Thanks Neil
  21. Alot more spending this weekend and an MOT booked for next Saturday at Cranleigh MOT centre, which does all of Ewhursts VW dealer cars so they can fix anything that might need doing - hopefully just a wheel speed sensor for the ABS. Went to Farnham tyres yesterday to have 4 new Avon ZV3's fitted. I had these fitted to my old VR6 and loved them. They are 205 50 15 86V (150 mph) which is enough. I had the four wheel alignment done (although I think only the fronts can be altered). The front left was -2 degrees 11, which was apparently why the car was jumping over 50 mph. The Camber and Toe have been reset and the ride is now perfect. Gave her a good clear out on some Ultimate and have been seeing over 30 mpg and some good speeds. The interior is nearly sorted, if anyone can help, I need the following: - Plastic interior door handle surround for the drivers side Door pins Plastic cover for the fuse box in the drivers side footwell Metal Clips/pins for holding the passenger side seat covers to the front underside of the base (part you sit on) Plastic circular adjuster for the drivers side seat (on the left side for tilting the seat The Dealer has to order all these parts in so just checking first Any help would be much appreciated I shall be at the next No Rice
