i dont think it has anything to do with my stereo as i had it at a reasonable volume this weekend. travelled from london to telford! and had problems there and back. im not sure about the fuel pump, i dont really hear nothing inside the car but ill have to check out side when i go to work tomorrow.what i find strange is that even when rolling, if you cut the ignition ( i kno u shouldnt!) and instantly put it back on it will run fine for a little while. been doing some searching for the same symptoms and the ignition amplifier has been brought up. could this be my problem? and would they be expensive to replace?

right guys i still have the problem.ive noticed it happens only after say an hour driving.what i find stange though is if i turn the car off and instantly back on its fine for a little while then it comes back. if i leave it in its shitty state it gets worse and worse to the point that its a struggle to maintain 30mph without juddering etc please guys i need your help!

yea ill give it a go tommorow, 15 inch sub is an absolute must for me lol. gonna give that rotor arm a go at the weekend.mine is really on there, just didnt wana go at it to hard in case i damaged the dizzy

yea the coil lead has been changed as has the coil. pretty much all of the ignition system is new ish (new dizzy last year also) i kno its a silly thought but could my stereo be affecting this? i have a 15 inch sub in there now n i had it really kicking the day it went funny ( you could see the voltmeter reading peak down and up on the heavy bass notes) was wondering if this could be sapping current otherwise needed to keep my car running? just a thought

today i was driving home from work and all was good, bout an hour into the drive i put my foot down (as you do!) from about 4500 rpm onwards the car didnt really wana go , however if i had my foot half on the gas working up through the revs slowly it was ok. on one ocasion the car really struggled to get past 5k rpm. i dont rag the bollox off the car, just give it a bit of beans every now n then. does anyone know what this could be?

looks nice, but where are you going to put your number plate?
-
very nice! something looks odd at the front, maybe its cos you havent got a number plate? i reckon you should do the bottom slats on the grille black to break up the silver a bit. i love silver corrados and yours looks very clean!

im currently painting a couple of doors as mine have suffered many parking dings and dents! will get pics up when they are done. i have saved the best for last, yesterday my babies arrived, cant wait to get them on! (i know most wont like the car or wheels but i just want to be different, bit bored off seeing standard cars on bbs wheels. no offense to people that have them but they just arent for me)

some pics of some of the other pices i made (clock faces and the gauge pod)

my car started to sound like arse so i got underneath , yanked the exhaust off. this is what i found! no worries though, 16 squid later ive got myself a mk2 golf scorpion back box off ebay and spent a couple hours fitting it (coudnt be arsed wiping the polish off near the exhaust lol)

painted and laquered (bear in mind this is my first attempt at using a compressor and spray gun! ) couple pics of it on the car, with the debadged grille i bought off AB all painted up with the bottom slats in matt black ive got a nice little idea up my sleeve for the skirts as from the side it looks a bit crap with the bumper being closer to the ground

update time! ive been very busy lately, but i have done a few things to the car, firstly i got an rs bumper extension and bonded then smoothed it into a secondhand bumper i got off ebay for a tenner, heres a few pics of the work in progress (sorry if the pics are on the large side, i have no idea how to resize them) the secondhand bumper, had to cut the bottom part off otherwise it would be seen thru the new extension. also keyed it up nicely with some rough sandpaper so the adhesive had something to grab heres the bumper with the new section bonded on. i used plastic bumper filler to blend the two then p38 and some fine filler past to get rid of the imperfections here its is before priming with all the filler work finished here it is in white high build primer
-
hehe i knew that was just testing you lol! where did u get it from, i havent seen a bumper like that before
-
where did u get the bumper extension for the back? ive been looking for something like this for ages!
