And just pops back on? May sound a silly question but surprised anything can be as simple as that on the car... Lol
-
Just resurrecting this post to ask a question.... Does the rear boot VW badge just pop off or is it glued..... How do you 'refit a new one. I have a new one complete with the blue clips.. Does it just push in or does in need to be glued in some way.... If so how.... Thanks

Hi All - if anyones interested - just seen a post on a Facebook page called BurnAllTheCorrados - not sure why its called that as its a positive site. But some one has just posted that someone has made them a Red VR6 badge and the picture of it (in it specially made wooden presentation box) looks really good = says it cost 60 euros plus shipping. To help locate it the post was by Akiles Eskivel Madraxo 11 hrs ago - can t get Facwebook via my laptop but will see if I can copy the link in a minute on my phone -
Got to love the VR6 - as it was dry in Sunday I took mine out for a spin (benefit of not SORNing) - Man put a massive smile on my face

Al the best finding one - they are out there - took me a while to find mine with 55k on it and I had to travel a reasonable distance and pay just over £6k just over a year ago. Its not completely fault free but what 20 year old car is but its been well looked after and is still has its original paint work. But they are worth waiting for a good one as there are a lot of not so good ones out there

Tent! - much lighter than caravan! and doesn't need towing! - Although I would still rather the hotel lol!
-
Welcome - nice looking VR6
-
I agree - I don't find mine terrible 1995 VR6 and you're so correct - go fast enough to make the wipers ineffectual and the AngelWax H2GO comes into its own
-
Although with the money I've put into it should have gone for 9000 Lol. But was just considering what it might cost to get one in the condition of mine with low mileage like mine.
-
Got my new insurance yesterday through Adrian Flux - thought I would share as thought it was a really good deal. 5000 miles agreed value (although they did not ask for any evidence so hope that's all ok)- didn't seem to make any difference telling them about suspension or brake upgades - they were only really interested in engine mods (which I don't have) Fully Comp including break down cover £270

Will have to wait till after Christmas as funds are low until end of January pay day
