    When mine leaked I had the worry that it was head gasket. It wasn't it was just the thermostat stuck

    Lol no tips from me. Haha. And appreciate what your saying although can't you replace without draining the full system then top up. And blue cap apparently better and allows it to let some pressure off i think. Lots of advice on changing to the blue one.

    Think they are fairly cheap and while you're at it get one with blue cap

    Worth checking with vw so you can check it against the car. I bought new aerial off eBay and although it was almost perfect match Ulf only difference was the base was ever so slightly smaller and therefore a gasket would not have fitted otherwise the nut was exactly the same as was the connector for cable

    At Last got round to fitting the new roof aerial! Looks so much better - why did I wait so long!

    Cool - let me know if your up for it - I have the email address of the guy who will send passes - easier than filling in forma and posting. Then all you need to do is click your attending on the CCGB site (events list) Think you need to decide by about the 21st to get on the stand and the cheap entry

    Yes mate - Sunday 31st - I've heard its a good show and great location. And its only £5 entry with your car onto the CCGB stand. And I have put an order in for good weather

    Great sounds like there may be a few of you. I have the email address for Steve Neil who will arrange passes to get your car in - its £5 per car - that way you may be able to avoid sending form in and he said he will collect money on the day. Just needs an email with details of your car (and you of course and he will email a pass PM me if you want his details

    So who else is likely to be at this event. Just had a look on CCGB and there are so far only 3 of us.... 7 more places to fill. This will be the first time I have ever taken a car to a show and I'm sure I'm going to be left feeling inadequate by all the amazing cars ha-ha! Be good to see a few of you there and put some faces to names.

    Not as much as you mate. But so far Been lucky and not had too. Just keeping it clean. The only issues i had was electrical and caused by the New alarm being fitted. So they did the repair for free. Other that that had brakes done and I wasn't messing with that. Sure I won't remain that lucky but for now just enjoying.
