Happy Days! - Hope you find your ABS pump May be worth looking here - £49 - says they are all tested http://www.stevensvwspares.com/vw-corrado-abs-pump-ecu-abs-modules/abs-pump-ecu23
-
And sorry Carrot1990 for hogging you wanted post! All please be aware ABS pump is wanted!!! And admin feel free to delete my waffle!
-
Thanks Dox - will do and thanks for the advice - I will take her to the gym with me tonight and give her a work out on the way home!
-
Oh and it looks like your had your brakes filled with extra virgin olive oil!
-
Well will give it a try - fluid should be all good as was only changed 2 months ago and as the ABS light is intermittent so im sure I can get it to be off and then try "exercising" the brakes - I do like that phrase! By this do you mean pick up a bit of speed and slam the anchors on and repeat a few times?
-
How much!!!!! Arghhhhhhh! No wonder they stopped making them no one would buy them lol! Will look into getting a refurb done after I try stamping on the brakes a few times incase they do just need a clear out - will also make sure battery is fully charged as did have some electrical issues which are now sorted that were draining the battery!
-
Someone needs to start re-making the abs pumps - seems like they are in demand and I may want one soon too! Would prefer to buy new as they often seem to be faulty - Where is the best place to get re-furbished should I need one possibly along with ecu? Thanks
-
Hope your fix works. Let me know after a while if it's still working. Next mot not till November so I have some time to trace and solve.
-
Thanks Sean. Will give it a go at the weekend. Worth trying the free ways first.
-
Can't imagine this system lasting very long before they quietly and without admission to the system being wrong... Change it
-
Hi Roger.... Fluid has all been done when had the the front and rear brakes upgraded. Shame would have been nice if that was the fix.
-
Yeah think that sort of job is well out of my capability. Lol
-
Thanks Jim - sounds suspiciously like your old pump may have been faulty too - did you upgrade to a different abs system - was ita major piece of work - will see if I can find a reconditioned unit and replace it - hopefully it will solve the issue - it does seem to be intermittent and ii think the abs feels like it works maybe its juts the ecu???

Would love a set of those on my blackberry.... Or maybe the 003s -
Lol - seems about right though and what I would expect form government offices - a bit like the extortion zone round London - you have to pay within quite a short time of having entered it - think it used to be 48 hours - doesn't give you much of a chance
-
I know that C & R enterprises will order front only from Goodridge for you although think its about £70 for front only special order. If that works for you give them a call
