Damn! And now they have my full credit card details :shocked!: And my address (well only partial postcode as it didn't recognised as a zip code!)

Cool guys :thumb right: I felt horrible that's all after seeing Sparks post - felt like I gazump someone :( If OK with Peter, I wait 24hrs - if no reply from Sparks then I ll PayPal u (I ll keep an eye out on my credit card statement, can u do the same please if u get TWO payments from me???)? Jim: Can we safely use Panjo? If not, How do we BUY on Panjo without entering credit card details to get passed the BUY IT NOW page?
-
Guys I am confused now :( Just to clarify: I paid for this via MarketPlace - not realising Sparks wanted it 10hours before (his post above) - I therefore offering it back to Sparks (if he still wants it) Northern: - is that OK, if Sparks wants it? - though CONFUSING bit is I thought I paid via credit card??? - but Panjo ONLY accepted U.S. address (even when I selected U.K.) - I then entered my credit card details and was accepted - does that mean my credit card been debited???:shrug: Also, who is AngusL??? Sorry for the mess guys :( If both Sparks and Northern can comment please...:tumbleweed:

Actually I am passing your neck of the woods this Thursday (lunchtime), Next Tuesday after lunch... If u trust my DIY skills (I don't!), We can have a go on the aux belt? I bought belt from EuroCarParts. Vag-Hag fitted for me as I watched: 1. Tighten pulleys with screw 2. Pull belt off underneath 3. Put belt on from under/above 4. Check 5. Remove screw from pulley Er, u have a trolley jack/ axle stand? Will save a few pennies as every bit counts! PS: Right guys? ;)

Hi Simon Seriously, read my thread. U and I seem to be on the same page - 1. Love our cars to bits 2. Car goes wrong many times over 3. We try to fix or pay for 4. We know nothing or too scare to fix ourselves... 5. But never ending money pit ... In the end, its really down to personal circumstances. I still DETERMINED to keep and fix as long as circumstances, finance AND crucially a garage allows  Keep at it, Simon! There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
-
But u said u were on a diet?
-
I second that! Just signed up to my 1st ever official Corrado meet (CCGB Stanford)! ;) Waiting for freebies giveaways galore and already drafting up a list of things awaiting members can help me fix on the day! Just kidding :D I meant the freebies! And the drafting list ...

U are? Well done!

I think I stick with the eBay one coz its a complete kit But once I am confident and want a better investment - deffo take up your recommendation! :thumb right: Just that I no confident in much. A DIY disaster. And everything always go wrong. So for paint job - I take cheaper / easier option for now. My C paint job is bad patches everywhere - wouldn't harm another bad patch  But if say I start spraying the whole sunroof - then maybe pay more ... Does that sound OK? Or mad?
-
Thanks Tempest :) Just signed up for CCGB and got my name down for this event now  My 1st ever Corrado event! PS: Will there be a convoy travelling south?
-
How much???!!! :shocked!: Thanks bud - but for now I ll stick with the cheaper options as just experimenting for now - but noted for future investment! :thumb right:

Decided! 1st test area s: 1. Battery tray + airbox tray - Wire brush - BH Surfex HD (degreaser) - BH Deox gel (derust) - epoxy mastic (rustproof) 2. Rear spoiler boot area - Dremel/sandpaper (derust) - BH Deox (derust) - Epoxy Mastic (rustproof) - Primer - Candy White LB9A - Lacquer
-
As long as they quote my VW code LB9A then should be OK, right?
-
Thanks Sean! :thumb right:
-
Oh :( The eBay ad does quote LB9A. OK - will ring VW for price. Wouldn't buying primer/topcoat/lacquer from same manufacturer better? Which primer u recommend (or epoxy primer will do)?
-
This ok? Much MORE than what i paid at Wilkinson  http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/221133699948?nav=SEARCH

Now: prise with flat blades and push up - nope :shocked!: Got fed up so tried twisting it - have i broken the brass hook underneath? I just think IMPOSSIBLE to separate brass hook underneath from hook :( I cant even see the brass hook:eek:
