Just found this in the storage under steering column Any idea where it came from?
-
Cheers Sean! Being unabled to remove the hooks - But that bit of the trim was a struggle to slide the headliner out :( Need to remove more side trims - As i had to warp thd headliner quite a bit to slide it out. So to slide it in PLUS new foam strips will be neigh impossible without breaking / snapping the sponge headliner  Next job (when C is in garage): Open up sun roof to fix leaks Remove rear bumper (?) to check sunroof drain outlets :thumb right:
-
Couldnt get the rear passenger coat hooks off :( Anyone any ideas? I tried knocking it up with a mallet.. I think the actual brass fittings inside the hook rather than separated from hook (which suppose to just lift hook and slide off???)
-
Done! But its NOT going to be easy sliding it back in! Bit of rust around sunroof Nice debris inside the headliner (someone been in there before?) Passenger windscreen trim come off ok :thumb right: But driver side i think the windscreen fitter super-glue the trim to it?!!! :shocked!:

Sanky s lovely G60 :thumb right:

Met up with Sanky :) Sanky was going to check why my horn NOT working ... Notice anything MISSING??? Oh ...lovely new HELLA radiator ..
-
Looking at car from front ... Right side, bottom bolt of radiator is not tighten in :( Radiator left trim not even attached  Driver headlamp - trim behind not screwed in :shocked!: Causes for the EXTRA vibration when fans are on??? :bonk:
-
+1 Second that :thumbleft::thumbleft::thumbleft::notworthy:
-
 Cant do much else, Chris! :D
-
This is the slower speed: It did stop for a split second, then went faster. My steering wheel can see obviously vibrating a bit (not that scarey, but vibrates ...) More than i used to...
-
Cheers Jim/Sean I assume belt is there then - as can turn both fans by moving one ..
-
Done! :) No more scraping noise!
-
Looks ok? But cant see rubber band??? :(
-
Good to know Sean :thumb right: Here's hoping nothing s lose when I check it later ...
-
Cool - thanks Sean The heavens have opened up now - so will have to wait til later ... I did turn both fans and both were very very easy to spin...but let me have another go later to be absolutely sure. I will check the motor, housing, band also...

No. 13 it is! :)

Oh My deffo vibrate. Vibrated before went into garage. Vibrated after new radiator fitted. Most modern cars i sat in - u can hear the fan kick in then a gentle humming/buzz in cabin movement. My C more vibrating - just thought it was normal for a 20 year old ... Though FIRST time felt a 2nd bigger vibrate (assuming its 2nd kick in)??? Or do they both work at same time???
-
Thanks Sean! Yes - I did noticed horn ONLY works when ignition on - was concerned that - as I do sit in car a lot of times with ignition off and should a car hit me .... I couldn't see a diagram on the fuse box so asking.....cool - will dig out fuse cover! :thumb right:
-
 I need a new MORE powerful battery then?
-
awwwww - that s understandable then ....those circumstances does forces a sale... Totally understand where u coming from...as I may have to make similar call myself in near future... Got a garage to house it? If not extra drive to keep it and then drive it weekends?
