  1. Cheers Hasan My CRX was no major rust, JDM with bronze roof, ICE COLD air con, most important POWER STEERING :) but sadly an auto :(
  2. Dismantling sunroof motor cover to check when sunny where leaking (or for rust): Remove cabin light / sunroof switch: Motor cover held by 2 screws / washers (One screw missing washer and not securing cover) Surprised allen key still there :thumb right: Considering amount of missing trims, covers etc on car! Motor cover + cabin light Can only change bulb by removing cabin light + from side push plastic legs of cabin light cover Only ONE clip then that holds the cabin light to the ceiling?
  3. Right, my bad, Chris! Didnt know u slip some copper slip on front without me knowing! :thumb right: Had cars in the past and get garage to change pads/disc. They ALWAYS squeal each time. Took it back - they add more copper slip - AND they STIL squeal  Some one did say to me once to use a special copper slip????
  4. Oh Was wondering why there was no front floor mats... Certainly from the driver side if push clutch down the bolt/washer underneath pedal securing the pedal aluminium plates in place (added by seller) catches the floor mat and pulls it up to snag with the brake pedal too!  Aluminium plates removed now. Can put floor mats in
  5. Well done Andy! Not to bad then?
  6. Cheers bud! Er, i rather not knowing my luck! Will see how bad the squeal gets !

  9. Thanks! :) I was testing the FADER / BALANCE on stereo this morning and thats how i discovered the speaker not working. Considering i have wires trailing from front to back and the previous owner had i stalled an amp/subwoofer in the boot before ... I know i looked at the rear speakers before ... Have some installed under the parcel shelf too - so unsure for now if oem speakers working or/and parcel shelf ones working too - will check when have time!
  10. Cheers bud :) We planned to use copper grease - But after the f/cursing of the brakes - we forgot about them :( And no - no brake cleaner on disc :( Can i just spray some now thru the alloys??? Yes - hoping power steering squeal go away soon ... Will check speaker connections Is it normal for ignition to crank anti-clockwise turn of key?
  11. Update D-Day -2 Testing STALLING: Day 4 - 6am: No stall  New issues: 1. Brakes squeaking on brake 2. Slight squealing on turning wheel (power steering ?) 3. Not work Rear passenger speaker 4. Ignition key also tries to start engine ANTI-CLOCKWISE??? Weather condition: Its SLEETING in Yorkshire!!!

  14. For the record, all my car parks are legit! :)
  15. Saving MZpog reading my long thread here ... I bought Prelude 2nd car in August. Then CRX as daily car in August. CRX was too loud and too low - but it was an awesome pocket rocket i decided to: Make the Prelude daily and CRX as summer car. Rust was discovered in the Prelude. So had to put into garage to rust-proof over Xmas. That means CRX needed to come out as daily. CRX just wasnt practical enough (i have 2 kids and loads of taxi ing). Decided to sell CRX and sold within 2days. Needed a daily, but no other Jap classic i like or can afford, so took a plunge for 1991 Golf Mk2 GTi 8v - got outbidded on Sunday by £1000. So on Sunday after decided to go for this White Corrado i seen on eBay for a while ...and history was made! :thumb right:
