Lol I not sat in a Golf VR6 before So is there that much difference between the Corrado and Golf? Would putting 2.9 in the Golf and 2.8 in the Corrado make them same?

I really really wanted a 1990 mk7 mini Nearly bought one for £3k But couldn't take the plunge due to possibilities of never ending problems....mint ones at £5k was waaaay beyond my budget :(
