Just met up with Stuart (MZpog) He just live literally a couple of streets from me - and I never seen his car before! Maybe one of those things if u arent looking out for one then u dont notice it? Anyway, Top bloke Stuart and thanks for the gifts (wink) ;-) Love our little blast on the bypass. Thanks Sean I guess u know now my car is like a toy messed around by some Kid who used to have it. Each day I find a new broken or missing item or something else don't work :-( I just hope the engine is fine! EEEK! As since owning it for a week there: 1. Almost no engine oil 2. No coolant 3. Roof leaks (but was told it doesn't) :( :( :(

Ok MORE broken bits found :( Remember passenger side headlight snap fixing? Not much better driver side headlight plastic frame LITERALLY falls off - eeeek! WHAT in the world is this screw/plug on driver side (non on passenger side)??? Front grille fixings are snapped off I always wondered what that cable tie was for???

De-badging just the "VR6" for now ... BEFORE Tools AND small spanner for nuts back of front grille badge AFTER

Depends on buyer If its a second car then only upto 1994 plates qualify for Classic insurance (normally)

Deffo! :) My experience has shown not all forums are the same. Not even same car forums. And certainly having one of the cars does help! As I know from experience and with me no good at DIY - If I have no car, I have nothing to say or contribute :(

But all they wanted was the generosity of the parts just to fix their cars to sell on. Having said that - please bear in mind, i dont know how long i am keeping mine! Plan was for just 2 seasons. Then back to boring modern cars from autumn. But as i love my car so much now (except the issues!) And I didnt get my redundancy money - my future is a little muddy now ... Awww I was hoping the CORRADO badge was a stuck on too :( I think maybe the best option is: 1. Replace front with debadge grille 2. rear remove CORRADO + VR6 badges - when spot rusting removing/respray get bodyshop to fill-in the CORRADO holes 3. Retain the rear VW badge

Oh :( Is it really a lot of work ref rear badge? I do like rear badge - might be the only badge (plus one on front grille) that s all i need. But not quite sure what badge to put or will fit in rear (or how much work )...
