Easier said than done in this country in January and February!! 10 min wait for car to defrost - although I do let oil get to around 60-70 before I give it some revs So its 60-70 oil temp before its safe to give it some welly then?
-
Mine s missing too! :(
-
Do u always rev your car a little in summer during start up?
-
My 1994 year car to me is quite new (compared with the late 80s and early 90s car s i had) But i always drive with hand on gear stick! Ok, we supposed to have 2 hands on wheel to be safe. But does it really damage the gear??? Ok I always start with in gear. But isnt it SAFER to start with clutch up? And read a lot about HOW LONG TO WAIT before driving off... So its true then - do NOT warm engine stationary!
-
Sean - u just be promoted to God status :)
-
How do i know it has an immobiliser (and working)?
-
Couple of lager s and a BIG bag of pork scratching coming up, then :)

Starting to think i may have paid too much for Corrado :( Pouring in money is part n parcel of owning an old classic car, but paying too much of the asking price is another thing ... After reading the owner manual arrived today ... More fault / nik nak finding : NO It does NOT on mine :( Why dosent the passenger height adjustment optional? Driver Coz the lever is MISSING :( My sunroof controls are different?? How does it operate (not that i want to!)
-
When I was looking at mine - Corrados on eBay were being bidded at around £2k - but these were average G60 and VR6s Think its one of those days u just have to wait for THAT one buyer! At your price - I might have considered it when I was looking just a fortnight ago! :(

The last time I used ClassicCarsForSale and CarandClassic it was free to advertise ...

Where the long strips sits, My car got the weather strip on the bonnet - where that strip would go. U think either: Have to remove weather strip Or Weather strip will nicely hold that strip in place? I not making any sense am I?
-
Gumtree? Piston heads quite good too (not too expensive) Some put it free on Facebook YouTube! For sale in car?
-
Just arrived! My very OWN manual from eBay :)
-
That what they call it? Price going up a bit though :( But importantly will it fit my 1994?
-
I just paid £2500 for mine and your looks much shinier than mine! Fogs/indicators super clear too :) But good luck with sale

Cool! U are a STAR, Sean! I ll have the cash ready! Any idea s to: 1. I do like a nice shiny badge where the VR6 badge sits - but not want the tell tale of VR6 badge 2. Do like the rear plastic beige VW badge - just different. - but want to remove all traces of VW Any ideas?

Thanks! :) On the list too now! Hope more suggestions come in! As I then have a list for garage to look at quickly this Friday! I really REALLY do NOT want to cancel my 3 day mini driving tour down south (West Yorks - Portsmouth) - my kids looking forward to it! And with the suspensions height increased - I can safely put my foot down too :) :) :)
-
Already on check list - thanks!
-
Cool So its the glass sunroof as opposed to painted sunroof. I prefer the glass as it let's light in. And thought about replacing mine. But then I like the painted solid look on the outside, hence decided to leave it for the time being (unless it leaks again :( )
-
Thanks Tim! Will jot that down too for garage to look at! Hopefully they can hook it up !
-
Oh What's the difference?
-
Expensive? I just wanted the Karmann badge - lol
-
This is what i want But i like this too :) Will it fit my 94?
-
Cool thanks! Does the front grill on a 1994 plate a single rectangular frame? Just that I saw a nice one with a long bit on top too?
