  1. i saw this on the tv,what an absolute joke  the best car valetor in the world actually used a sponge  to wash a car worth 100k or sommet, cant remember... and as for using his hands, pmsl  with high spots on ya fingers and rough skin  you could actually see high spots in the silly priced carnuba once he 'massaged' it into the paint. oh,as for the citrus crap, its just feckin tfr (traffic film remover) nothing special about it at all :? and then! he went and applied (non acidic-oooooh) alloy wheel cleanser to the wheels after he had powerwashed the body off :? yeah, lets flick it all over the body work with a paint brush... joke.

  5. Shilakadaddy, are those the autogauge ones? boost/oil pressure and voltage at a guess? its between those and the autometer ones at the minute. i do prefer the lower scale on the autometer ones but prefer the black switched off look/colour of the autogauge! JMC, ahhh, yeah can see how they will look good in yours m8!

    Tyres for D90's

it is a 'bit' crashy jenks m8,and when thrown round tight/hard bends it creates a bit of understeer...but it can be lived with and got used to. neil.
  7. cool, cheers for the pics everyone :D jmc,is the needle orange? or red? i do like that gauge apart from the silver surround...could maybe paint em? just want something to go with the dials 8) edit:still need to change the lcd screens!

    Tyres for D90's

    ideally 7j wide 8's are a stretch. this is a 195/45 on an 8x16.
  10. is this a first? and maybe last?
  11. how to tint corrado headlights 8) neil.
  12. involves removing the stereo!
  13. no probs m8! thats what the forums here for :D as far as i know the in tank pump just twists in and out... as for the pin hole in the cooler tube, needs a new hose really, that wont be helping performance either! neil. :)
  14. having looked at your other thread concerning your ignition timing,id be inclined to think thatll sort it m8 8) replace the idle screw. sort ignition timing by eye/and then with a timing light, and it should be good i reckon. neil. :)
  15. i get it from my local top gear motor store mike :D neil.
  16. the 3 little sensors on the side of the head all have the same part number,so the wiring can go which ever way you please. :) id let someone confirm first though as its a while since i messed with a valver :( ! neil.
  17. ahh cool 8) you have the black bits too like me.and i see you used the granville stuff, good sh1t that 8) and another thing, thats a damn good looking rado there, what are the rims?
  18. a little mirror? although the tickover sounds like theres probably nothing stuck in there... try stick your finger over the hole while the cars running :) neil.
  19. theres no relay that im aware of,they are heated though if that helps any m8? :) neil.
  20. if you remove the fuse box cover-2 clips that pull out. then remove the bit next to it-self tappers along left side/top and one on right hand side, that should give you good access. now dont quote me on this as ive never actually removed one from a corrado, but im guessing that the switch will just turn like 1/4 of a turn and pull out. someone should be able to confirm. :) neil.
  21. if its a new one with new rubber seal on there...you will have to push it in the hole until the threads meet each other :) unless some ones bunged sommet in there that they shouldnt have??! without the screw in there,it should tickover pretty high, whats it like? neil.
  22. greeny, thanks for the chop m8 :D ! carpy, you could always paint the bulbs for the other lights maybe? feck it,think ill have a crack tommorow! :)
  23. those pics bring back feckin bad memories man...  a wrench/spanner should just fit with no probs m8,i think unplugging the connector from the cooling fan may give a little more room. neil.
  24. i think the correct thing to do is to: unplug the bts (blue temp sensor,in top coolant hose) and then stick the idle screw in,turn it in untill the tickover is around the 750-800 rpm mark and then plug the bts back in. blip the throttle a few times and check the tickover is good.around 850-900 rpm should be good. neil. :)
