  1. Any idea's guys? :? Would it be worth swapping the fuse box for a spare i have? Neil.
  2. Yep,definately :) i had the same problem with some bolts that were too long, bent the bloody things :( Managed to find new shorter bolts with some more (diffarently sized) adapters. You should be fine chopping the bolts a little, they will still have the exact same amount of thread holding them on if you chop accurately. Neil. :)
  3. Damn,i was sure somewhere did them...remember posting a link in an old post i think :? maybe euro car parts? they list glass/insert,not sure what that means exactly... Neil.
  4. As above really, you ideally want very fine wet n dry to start with and see how that brings them up.Something like 2000/3000 grit... If you start off too rough it will possibly remove too much, but start off fine and see how it goes, going rougher if need be. Neil. :)
  5. For fecks sake...feel for ya man :( Glad you are ok though :) ! Neil.
  6. Pretty sure gsf sell them? i cant just remember how much, but i dont think they were too bad. Neil. :)
  7. Its just not like it used to be...and it will never be so good again. I remember when my mum/dad used to argue, and my dad and me would jump in the manta and just go drive sideways...they were the days man.
  8. Bump, may have a look at erm..... 'something' tommorow? :?
  9. Give Nick a shout at Retro performance The guy is good... :) This is the kind of thing he can repair, never mind refurb to a minty standard! 8) Neil.
  10. Sounds plausable m8,where would i start looking? It does seem worse if i have plenty leccy bits turned on... Its really annoying me now,i keep putting it up with the switch everytime i drive just so it dosnt look p|ssed :( What components are there in the set up? the control module. the switch. does the speed sensor in the gearbox actually have anything to do with it? anything else? like on the clocks themselves etc etc? Cheers,Neil. :)
  11. http://www.volksdevil.com Just look for this guy to save Neil. :D
  12. Theyre alright m8 8) bit less messing about than using 2 buckets... Neil. :)

Look a bit fussy? imo All down to you at the end of the day though m8,id leave em on for a bit and see if they grow on ya :D Taken me ages to get used to the design 90's! Neil.
  14. Ok guys heres the problem, The spoiler used to be intermittent with speed, always worked on the switch. New relay jobbie and it worked at speed for a while :D But now... If i have the lights on,it dosnt come up at speed,or it sort of jumps up and down. And ! sometimes lights on or off,it dosnt come up at speed unless i stab the throttle over 45mph :? ! Ive gone through all engine bay earths, tailgate wiring, the new relay, even a new speed sensor in the gear box :? Any idea's guys? Neil.
  15. Aye,4 wheel drifts come all to easily  dont drive like i used to tbh...
  16. Ok guys... :D if i run 9x16 et15,with a 215/35. How low will i be able to stay? i dont want that 'my wheels are too wide for my car' kinda look, want them to look like a good snug fit just sat nicely in contour with the arches. Anyone any idea on clearance at the back with 9x16 et15? :D if i decide to machine them a bit on the back face? Neil.
  17. :D Also...keep the wash mitt 'loaded' with shampoo/water rather than squeezing it out,it will tend to float across the paint really nicely then. Neil.
  18. The odd time i give the rado a bit of grief...i can feel the tyres sort of tucking under...195/45's on 8x16. Its like a soft suspension feeling.
  19. Good stuff :D The wash mitt has a bug remover on one side (the stockinette looking side 8) ) It is manufactured to be safe for use on the body, but personally i just use it on the front screen. Neil. :)
  20. Aye,crap  i hate the gearing tbh  1st is the most pointless gear ive ever known, and second is absolute rubbish. Forever 2nd/3rd/2nd/3rd around town... Neil.
  21. Mental  The 195/45's on 8x16's is way enough for me,just on the verge of looking a bit silly too imo...
  22. Interesting 8) I dont know why but mine seems flat in 4th and 5th,never even bothered going for gold becase it just feels slow... :? Are they all a bit like that? not sure if theres a slight boost leak or slipping belt or sommet... Dont fancy doing a vid at crazy speeds so heares onr from 30-80
  23. oh Rob !  Have you any idea how much clearance you have at the back of the rims? is it closest to the rear beam or shocker? considering machining the wheel faces. Neil.
