  1. Aye,green bulb he say no
  2. Aye. 8) I stuck the sticker on somewhere near, same amount sticking out all round.Smoothed out from the center, and in the oven at 100c for 8 seconds...remove and stretch round the corners/over the sides. Kept doing that until they were stretched/stuck all nice and tight, then cut the excess off. Neil.
  3. 8) Ye old fk rear lights have gone, felt good sticking the standard fitment ones back in actually! lot better fit...after some tweaking of course :D Also smoked another spare standard set i had...gonna try these on tommorow...think i prefer the reds already though?
  4. Voted,although im not a fan of G60's
  5. Just to the rear under there m8 8) Therapor...Aye,lowered is getting on my nerves now tbh! Round my way...there's 2 roads out from my house... One side, the car simply will not go over the massive tarmac speed bump  And the other side has those stupid red things down the stretch of road, half speed bump efforts, and it bangs the splitter every time over each one...! Its slowly splitting more and more... :(
  6. The nuts under the little pop off covers havent worked loose have they? The round covers on the bottom of the wiper arms...theres one nut on each arm,if they work loose they wont move when under pressure, and the spindles may have worn through them spinning inside the wiper arm. Neil.
  7. Aye,self tapping type 10 millies...they go through the splitter, through the bumper and tap into a metal plate running across the top. Neil.
  8. Possibly a bit of crap on the splined shaft? Or a wrongly used lubricant on the shaft? Either can cause a sort of 'sudden' clutch engagement... Not sure what else to suggest really, apart from maybe not being bled up properly? Not too familiar with hydraulic set up  Neil.
  9. Definately genuine in my opinion, ive had gsf/euro senders in the past and a few have leaked oil from around the spade terminal :( Neil.
  10. Diffarent 8) like em 8) Neil.
  11. Agreed :) oil filter head one is as you say: 068 919 081 1.4bar black side of head: 028 919 081d 0.25bar blue. Neil.
  12. Cheers man :D Hopefully got a couple of original tweaks to come soon...i dont think the cops are gonna like one of em big time 8) Neil.
  13. bugger the rat look eh? The bird poo look?  Aye 8) Jet washes aren't the best really...They 'hammer' any dirt/dust/grit/salt against the paint. If the lance has a soft pattern, used at a good distance then its damage limitation. Neil.
  14. Pmsl  Oh i left it on long enough...it was a few days ago i covered a wheel in it  Wonder if there's a wheel left  Nah,seriously though im just being lazy and not attempting to scrape it off, although it did used to just lift paint off im sure of it! :? Neil.
  15. I dunno about that actually, dont think its as strong as it used to be :? its not touching some bbs's im refurbing! Neil.
  16. Fairy liquid!? :( ! Fairy liquid has got to be one of the most commonly, and wrongly used products there is as far as washing cars goes...its really not good for the paint, and can actually induce rusting :(

    D90s

With the 8j either 20mm or 25mm are cool...if running 195/45's. With the 6j you would be needing maybe 40mm? adapters (assuming they are the same et52 as the 8j) Neil.

    Fill in the Gaps

Hi m8, You only want to clay the car once and see how it goes. Its not really something to keep doing if you have a good routine/products to stick to afterwards... You have a pretty good collection there,as for the glass cleaning...a lot of personal preference involved.I like foaming aerosol types used with a glass specific microfibre myself...The cream glass polishes are good for cutting through heavy nicotine staining and traffic film, but a few tend to leave a dusty/powdery residue. The megs tyre gloss is good as Goldie says 8) And the Autoglym he refers to is the Ultra deep shine, also good stuff, and yep...polish before the wax. Neil. :)

    Clay bar???

Claying wont remove polish as it never really fully meets the paint.(if done correctly!) it glides on the wax/lubricant that you use, which also helps with the end result) It works by breaking down small particles of sh|t...for want of a better word  although depending on how big the contaminants are/how much lubricant is used/how well stuck on they are,it does tend to pick them up too. Neil. :)
  22. Can i get away with saying i did that on purpose? Ahhhhh! just over an hour left! slightly confused by shipping costs too :( 90 euro's to the uk,but yet payment method listed is cash on collection only :?
