God dam it!! Ha-ha - ok may have to revisit this - oh well I at least I have springs just need to look into suitable; dampers - any suggestions?Sports exhaust may have to wait a while longer
And you say I need to replace bushes too - any idea of he cost of these? and part numbers? Ah well suppose buying the bits as I go along will spread the cost - just means I have to be patient which was never one of my strong points! 0- but I defer to the knowledge on this forum
Thanks guys for the advice[/quote

Or you could go powerflex but the is probably 3 times more expensive but worth it.

Gotta agree with gold finger. Do you want to take a risk. Yeah it may look better but wont look so hot when being towed out of a hedge cos the damper has given out. Your choice though.

I think I have sent pm (not sure though)

Fitting to standard dampers - couple of people mentioned on here they had done the same and that the ride was quite good still??Just wanted to get a more acceptable ride height at the lowest possible cost withouit ruining the ride. - hope this proves to be true?
The thing is you may find that the dampers wear out alot quicker as not all the travel is being used there fore putting more pressure lower down which standard dampers aren't designed for. False economy in my experience.

What's the ride like? Got 2 kids that get car sick alot so don't want anything 2 harsh. Will have a word with the boss when she gets home and pm you later.

Could be interested. Can I ask why you are changing them?
-
Are the rear top mounts the same for early and late spec corrados?

I think we have all been there. Done a full respray looked wicked no runs went out to let it dry and a ton of dust landed on it and the guvnor blamed me. The dust came from the rotten roof not cause I went out.

Nice. Bet you can't wait. How long does he recon till its back on the road?
-
It's certainly getting there. You fitting it up?

The green one isn't perfect mate it bloody good but not perfect, and to be fair the black one is rough! It's even had the arches rolled with a baseball bat I think! But it's low mileage, full black heated leather and it's and honest original car warts n all! With black it's gotta be 110% but when it's done right it can't be beaten. So much so I'm thinking of going darker with mine. But I'm 50-50 as mine is so original apart from a few things like vr6 clutch and gbox. With many many warts. Reverse lights not working is the new thing which I discovered today. Oh we'll if you buy a corrado that's 23 years old!

Yes it will but this will get a fully stripped shell repaint, I'd like to take it back to bear metal so it'll be a project over winter! Same colour as I love it in black!I'll be getting my mechanicals all sorted first, I'd like the VR to be flawless!
Yeah cos the green one looks so tatty.

Is this getting the full re spray treatment? Doesn't look like it needs it but expect you'll have it done by Monday lol. Looks nice enough.

Light at the end of the tunnel. Bet you can't wait. Can I make one small suggestion if you can use 2k laquer on the rear lights http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/321762035388?nav=SEARCH as the single pack will end up looking dull next to the fresh laquer. It's easy to use just push the button at the bottom of the can to mix and it will last 24-48 hours before going off in the can.

Try a g3 glay mit with the g3 detailer you will never use a daft lump of clay again in your life !!Try the 3 stage 3m green yellow and blue its what i used on mine after a full respray and its come up more than exellent
Is that the same kit that's on ebay for £126.99? It should be good at that price.

My head is spinning. What happened to wash and dry with a leather.

Hope last post didn't come across as a matter of factly not my intention but when I read it back realised it could sound like that.

I have polished car with mop and compound just used t cut to get the last bits of compound off. I am a fully qualified body repairer but don't work in the trade any more (not enough money in it anymore) but have never heard of clay until I started using this forum. You learn something new every day lol.
Valver Project, back from the body shop!!
