One top tip is to give the struts a coat of waxoil as the coating corrodes quickly. I found out about it to late.

  3. Right hand drive with abs. Yes just the front or to be exact the passenger side. Bloody bolt rounded off so had to cut pipe. Would be interested if you could make some up.
  4. Could well be an option. Was also looking at this http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/COPPER-BRAKE-PIPE-LINE-KIT-NUTS-3-16-4-76MM-SEALEY-FLARING-TOOL-KIT-AK505-/201416968185?hash=item2ee56307f9%3Ag%3A1a0AAOSwHnFV4d-%7E&_trkparms=pageci%253A516af995-01d0-11e7-8465-74dbd1803b5a%257Cparentrq%253A9fb2f0fa15a0a605d8c7964afffcace4%257Ciid%253A14 not sure how confident I feel about making my own though. Has anyone made their own up before?
  5. I have but cant post them up. Pm me with a phone number and I can whatsapp them or email address. Got the engine out at the mo.
  6. Ha ha my wife used to ask that. I think she has learnt not to ask anymore.
  7. I know how the spend spend goes. I had a budget for the work I'm doing and part of that was for a new exhaust but with all the other stuff I have found I need the exhaust is not gonna happen. I think bill gates would struggle with the running cost of a rado lol.
  8. Does anyone know where I can get new front cooper brake lines for a 92 G60? Have looked on fleebay but only coming up with rear lines or fronts for a vr6. Cheers stew.
  9. Don't know about fk stuff but if you are after a budget coilover you cant go wrong with ap which I have as do a number of other people on here do. What sort of budget you looking at?
  10. Payment has been sent sent you a pm but not sure it actually sent.
  11. I know how you feel. Had to take my head off to do head gasket and have ended up having to remove the whole engine to get to the manifold nut that kindly rounded itself.
  12. That looks like the one. Does it come with the tooth brush? Pm me with price and details. Cheers

  18. You will need quite a large compressor to run a air sander at least a 7cmf. I paid £750 for mine about 18 months ago.
  19. Just been on the web site and can see me spending alot of money.
  20. I assume quite alot of the boats in the river are diesel too. Will the new emission regs extend to them as well?
  21. It looks like they are trying to recoup all the money they lost when they made low emission cars free or low tax bracket.
  22. Where are you getting the stretch bolts from? Have taken the head off my G60 for a re build so will be needing some myself. Cheers
  23. I'm sure there have been a few threads on here and it will apply to cars registered after a certain date. While on the subject off being ripped off it's going to cost cars over 10 years old (registered before 06)an extra £10 a day on top of congestion charge to drive in London. Also after 2020 no diesel engine vehicals will be allowed in London.
  24. Yes the alloys are. They was originally on my wife's mk1 which I borrowed while I got the original bbs alloys re furbed. I don't doubt I will regret painting the block buy the ocd in me still wants to do it plus ill have time on my hands while the head is off being done.
  25. Cheers for the heads up. Want to stay as close to oem as pos.
