Hi all. My G60 seems to have developed a intermittent fault. I am getting a knocking noise but not sure where it is coming from it only happens when accelerating and if I tame my foot off the accelerator the knocking noise stops so I think that would rule out anything lose rattling as the noise would be constant not just under acceleration. As mentioned the problem is intermittent. Anyone had a similar problem or any suggestions as to where to start looking?

Are you still looking for a shell? If so pm me as I have a shell which is being fully re furbed. I was building it up for myself but have taken a new job which means I need a boring car. Based in Essex.

Painting isn't a problem as I have all the guns and compressor but paint and laquer would come to about £40 so brings the grand total to £700 ouch.

Cheers for the links chaps. Found them at €420 which is about £330. So for 2 wings that's more than half what I paid for the car. Think I might give them a miss.

Top man. I will get them waxoyl'd soon. I didn't realise they would corrode so would have just left them as is. Cheers

I fitted aps to mine about 3 months ago and more than happy with them.I don't even feel the need to avoid pot holes which also makes the drive experience more enjoyable. Couldn't recomend them highly enough. Like the idea of waxoil I thought they had some sort of coating on them but I guess not.

I have my early spec bumpers off at the mo but front is some pos fibre glass so wouldn't trust any measurements from that I can measure the rear though. What you got planned anyway? -

I would have thought they are the same size. I know if you have late spec bonnet you need late spec wings and visa versa but not heard anyone say The same about bumpers. I can have a measure tonight to confirm. -
Unusual Corrado, not sure what I think of it TBH

Saw this on youtube earlier today. Think this is a marmite car. Not a big fan but you've got to admire the workmanship. -
Aaron's VR6 - is now R32'd - that sweet, sweet noise! (Page 20)

That's spot on. By the time I've flicked through I forget what it looked like. Old age. Gotta admit I'm quite tempted to do this my self being as the engine is coming out soon. -

Looking good. You got any before and after pics for comparison. Where you putting the batt in the boot or bay? -
What was the cost for 2m x 900mm if you don't mind me asking?

Not sure think I read it on the edition 38 forum but would guess the first edition new beetle.

I have heard that the new bettle scrapers are very close to rado ones. Might be an option.
