SOME OF THE WORST CORRADOS EVER... RICED !!!!!!! NOOOOOO ;-)
Red=Fast replied to chris CORRADO's topic in Exterior
the wheels on the Nothelle Corrado look like they came from a SAAB. besides the lights, grill, and wheels that thing looks pretty stock. i would dump the lights and rims and be happy with the car. as for about 98% of those cars, i feel i need to take a walk outside to vomit. -
wow, awesome looking corrado. the color is totaly nice looking, i think i have only seen one other corrado that color. looks nice man.

my car will be running by the end of the month. its been a little over a year now since i have driven my own corrado. (i have been driving my friend steve's G60 every chance i get. im sure i will be sporting a grin as soon as my corrado is back in my hands... =]

the sun is the only thing that gets my car. my clear coat is coming off a bit on the top. eventually im going to get my car re painted but that isnt a real priority for me right now. that is a really impressive corrado...man. my main beef with it is that the wheel spacers are too large. personally im not a bog fan of wheels coming out past the fenders, but other than that...that thing is amazing. i will shoot you an email when my car is running so we could meet up. i might be able to get another corrado or two to go with me. =] -
check the compression yourself, i dont know what shop you are talking about...but is their word reliable? or are they just trying to get more money from you than you really need to pay? im not that familiar with the vr6, but that seems like VERY low mileage to require a rebuild. if everything seems to work fine on your car, keep it and run with it until there is something noticable (loss of power etc) or you could just spend the money now and get the rebuild or a new engine. its really up to you.

something a little fun with the corrado is if you upgrade the suspension at all you can get some awesome 3 wheel action. heh.

that all black one looks quite similar to mine... =] but mine has a 16v in it... as soon as my car is running we should meet up. im up in santa cruz, where are you? -
can you even fit a normal VR6 hood (bonet) over that tubing? =]
-
i think im going to be buying some from your site as soon as my car is running and i have the bmw lights installed. so maybe a month or so...
-
wow. someone is going to have a happy BRIGHT winter. awesome parts man. i want my HIDs back... =] where did you get your HIDs? how much?
-
yeah a lot of the people on the vortex are very uninformed, they lie to sell things, false advice, etc. a lot of the people on there are jerks. but not all. i hardly ever go there just for that reason.
-
i think those would be sick if they were black.

well, the new betles here in the US have a similar spoiler at the top of the rear window. it is much smaller, but it is the same idea with forming to the body.

http://store.yahoo.net/hidfactory/cophhidulsyf.html http://www.eautoworks.com/html/lbu-Ligh ... on~Kit.htm there are a bunch of HID kits for sale. i used to have them with my stock US spec housing, and it was freaking awesome light.
-
either way it is a ton of work. bahn brenner makes a awesome kit for a 16v g60. little high on price, but they make quality parts, good customer support, knowledgable staff. here is the link for the kit: http://www.bahnbrenner.com/bbmservices/16v.html they are based in auburn washington USA. this is probably what i am going to end up doing to my car someday...nothing like getting over 300BHP from a 4 cyl. =]

yeah i actually have a mic. that can do that. i used the mic. on my first test run with the camera mount and it is nice. i think for my next video im going to incorporate that into it. but thanks for the feedback. i will have another one of these soon enough! =]
-
i actually have a special camera mount bought from this guy who makes them out of his home ( http://www.stickypod.com ) this guy makes quality equipment. its worth the investment. and im trusting it with my $1,500 camera... but yeah, lots of care is involved. thanks for the feedback. hope to hear more!

i did the block myself, since i had never done it before, i was a total perfectionist. i think i spend around a week and a half just building that thing. everything on it is perfect. =] this car is my baby. im on over $10K american invested now.
