  10. It's a little long, so just read this if you are bored I guess. So last night there was a vw meet at the local Italian restaurant, I ended up going with my girlfriend, and my 2 roommates. To set you up for this story a little better, let me give you some background on what had happened a few days ago… While my mechanic was working on my car the other day (installing my cam and attempting to get my reverse glow gauges going again), ‘accidentally’ he grounded out a wire while working under my dash, blowing my stereo fuses as well as my amp fuses. Yeah, pain in the ass. Besides just blowing the fuses he also managed to somehow make my speedo no longer work on my gauge cluster. So I have him fix those things, a few hours and fuses later he fixed the problems. After he has gone, I go to drive my car and my fuel gauge as well as my temp gauge do not work. Fantastic. So I now have been driving since Monday with no fuel gauge I had ¾ of a tank of gas, no big deal, I will fill up on Friday, not a problem. Back to last night… On my way home, we started up the incline of the hill on the way home, and a full load in my Corrado, I rub a little bit when I hit a good size bump in the road. Annoying but never was any real kind of issue. So, I hit a bump in the road and scrape inside the wheel wells a little, no problem, so I thought. All of the sudden my car starts sputtering and when I give it more than half throttle, the car just about dies while driving! At this point I'm almost to the top of the hill limping up it with my caution lights flashing going 5mph (because that’s all the momentum that was left from the hill). So I make it into town and them car dies. At this point I'm freaking out threatening my car that I am going to sell it and so I get out with my roommate and push it to a near by parking lot. I am franticly looking everywhere under the hood and car trying to figure out what the hell happened when my car scraped. I find nothing is out of order and I am stumped. So I start trying to figure out what could be the problem. I don’t think its gas because I had ¾ of a tank 3 days ago. And I don’t know what could have happened from just scraping a bit under the car. So I let myself and the car cool down for like 10 min. and then I try to start it again, sputters a bit then dies. I figure I will no try process of elimination. Gas first. Easy fix if that is the issue. I have no gas can, crap. Luckily I have a friend who works a 10 min. walk away from where I ended up with my car. So I walk over and borrow his car and gas can. Drive back to the car, put the gas in, let the fuel pump go for a few seconds and it fires right up. I am going to let my mechanic hear about this… And boy do I feel stupid.
  11. The only screens I had made were sixteen valve driven, g-sixty, and vrsix… They charge quite a bit per screen. It also doesn’t follow the theme I went with. =\ sorry mate.
  12. Bump it up guys! These shirts are going to be made with high quality shirts and screen printing.
  13. EDIT: You can also order the shirts without the text on the back if you really dont want it. Ok, here is how it’s going to work. I am going to keep the list open for 1 week to get as many confirmed orders as possible. At the end of the week there will be a cut off and no more orders will be taken until further notice. I need to get a solid number for the print shop so this is the best way I could think of doing it. So the cut off time for this order is going to be the 3rd (02/07/05). Once I get the final numbers/payments there is a 2 week turn around time from the print shop and depending on where I am sending them to it could be another 1-3 weeks to arrive to your door. I am doing all online payment through PayPal. Send $25 USD to: mailto:[email protected] via PayPal with this information included in the payment: -Address where you want the shirt(s) shipped to -Shirt size -Shirt color (Black with white text, Navy with black text, or Light Steel with black text) -Model of Corrado you want on the shirt (G60, VR6, or 16v) -What forum you are from and your user name from that forum Here are the designs again: The final text. The quote is going to be on the back between the shoulder blades and the Corrado forum logo is going to be on the right shoulder. That’s it. Now order some shirts! =] I will confirm your order by putting your user name on a list on the site here as soon as the payment has been received. This so far is: Corrado forum Users: davebirl x4 Red=Fast x3 990G60 x1 GMAN x1 Beeftech x1 Blue_Joe x2 TomB x1 Dinger657 x1 Brando x1 Kevin x1 craigbeal x1
  14. lol its ok. Yeah technically we got the SLC. It was a dumbed down version of the VR6 you guys got. But everyone here is in denial. It’s a SLC where I'm from...lol
  15. Oh, for payments when I am ready to start selling them I am just going to accept payments through PayPal. It’s the best way to transfer money I have found. So prepare accordingly mates. =]
  16. I know guys im sorry... Volkswagen Of America is pretty tight about things I am told. I would rather just avoid any issues and keep a totally original design. I am doing the best I can with what I have to work with.
