Hm... What do the rest of you valver guys think? It does through off the suit I had going with the model name instead of nick names for it. But if you guys want it that way I can fix it up. -

***A new addition to the shirt***: it is going to have a http://www.corrado-forum.net logo on the sleeve of the shirt. This should take care of you guys wanting people to know it’s a Corrado shirt. The Corrado Forum is graciously letting me sell the shirts from their website (unlike the vortex), so I am more than happy to plug you guys into the shirt. As for the text on the back I still haven’t decided on which text I am going to be going with. The shirts should be up for sale within the next week or so (that’s the plan anyways). But yeah, so stay posted, I am going to be posting a final post on how the shirts are going to be printed soon enough. -

I can’t do anything that is copyrighted by vw. I would rather do something completely original and not have to worry about being sued. I have heard stories of people getting screwed by VW for selling stuff with their name and logos etc. before. I would rather avoid that route. Later today I should have some samples of the text that is going to be on the back of the shirt. I will give you guys a few choices for text and see what you guys like best. -

Alright guys I have made a few changes to the designs. I made the outline with thicker lines to make it easier to see. I also tweaked the text slightly to make it easier to read and I put all of the designs on to each color of shirt to give you a rough idea on how it’s going to look on each shirt. Another addition to be added on is the text on the back of the shirt. I haven’t decided if I want it to run across the shoulders or along the bottom of the shirt in the back but the phrase is "If you think the love of your life is high maintenance, try mine" or just “corrado-forum.net” heh. So let me know what you think. I think this may be close to final draft material. I also included the actual size pictures of the design that is going to be on the shirt so you can see the detail a bit better. But yeah check them out and let me know what you think. Anyways, here are the pictures: -

HAHA...Thanks guys! I think this may be very close to the final design. I may tweak with the text slightly; but I think that’s pretty much it. I am also going to sharpen the lines on the Corrado a bit and make them darker and easier to see. Give me a little time to hone the design and then comes getting them printed on quality shirts. I have a hook up for good silk screen printing. I am very excited for this to actually happen! -

Here are some more rough designs since people haven’t been reading the posts they think I am only doing G60 ones. Here are the G60, VR6, and 16v ones: These are still the rough designs. I just wanted to show proof of there being a design for most of the models. Again, things are going to be cleaned up a lot more. -

Thanks guys. I actually put a lot of work into getting the new outline of the car to make it more Corrado like. As for making more of a distinction I will play around with it to see what I can do maybe a dash or something. Again, this was my first working of the new design. I can still change things up a bit. I don’t know if I am going to be sticking to the older designs because only a few people actually liked them. Maybe I could make a shirt that will just have the Corrado outline on it or something. Thanks for some positive feedback. With all the negative I got with the cnut ones this feels pretty good. =] -

Alright guys, I could not wait to clean it up but here is a VERY ROUGH version of the next draft of designs. The design is going to be cleaned up a lot from this version, but this is a general idea of how it will look. Let me know what you think. =] -

Oh, for the back I was thinking about having something like “It’s a love – hate relationship…” on the bottom of the shirt; just an idea. I think its amusing because the cars have so many issues yet we love them so much. =P -

From the general consensus the CNUT is going to be cut from the future designs. From reactions on the vortex and here on the Corrado forum the outline of the Corrado used in these designs is also going to be slightly changed. People seemed to have a hard time visualizing the outline being a Corrado even though it was taken from a photo of my Corrado. But yeah, next designs are going to be without the CNUT and a better angle of the Corrado so people can tell what it is. Anyways, I hope the next designs will be done soon enough. My original plan for the new designs I made were to have the graphic designer I know smooth them up a bit with changing fonts and whatnot, but I think I might be doing it myself. So give me a few days, I'm doing this in my spare time in-between work and home. The first designs you guys see here were a total rough draft of what’s to come. I really appreciate the input from everyone. Stay posted for the new designs. If you have any more ideas I am open to hearing them. =] -

haha... The back is still up in the air like most of the shirt. If there was something on it I was thinking it lining the bottom of the shirt. -

Thats what I needed to hear after the last reactions from the old designs. =] -
Alright guys…I have been super busy the past few months, but I got some motivation today while at work to make some new designs. These are first draft designs so any feedback would be helpful. I really want to try and get these made so please give me any feedback so I can get designs most everyone agrees with. Here are the new designs. Colors of designs of shirts can be changed etc. I'm partial to darker color shirts so they don’t get stained as easily so they will last longer. I will probably get the graphic designer I had before touch up the next drafts. I have a few more ideas for fonts and whatnot. Bring it on.
