  1. The best I've managed was 49.2mpg whilst driving back 36miles A-roads from Uni. Took me bloody ages! Really boring too!
  2. They aren't very supportive are they? A lot of name calling....moron!
  3. Aye, and the thremal resistor that is in place isn't good enough either!!
  4. As this fix wasn't solely thanks to me, my friend John Scothern at work helped with the really techy bits, he has just sent me this information on the problem that causes the automatic spoiler to fail The original transistor was a BCW66G. The one I replaced it with is an FMMT495 (Farnell part number 302-7028). I've attached a little schematic of the transistor circuit for completeness I hope this may help a few of you on here, and I'll get a picture of the location of the transistor on the circuit board Cheers Stu
  5. Fixed my Spoiler! Managed to find the fault in the instrament cluster! http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22959
  6. I need to borrow a digital camera so I can put a pic up on the forum. I get the feeling that it might be the problem with other peoples spoilers. The transistor has little or no protection from current going the wrong way down the speed pulse wire from either spoiler control module or radio!
  7. Fixed it!!!!!!!! Spoiler wouldn't work automatically, now it does! It was a blown transistor in the dial cluster!!! Took a bit of figuring out, but got there eventually. I'm well pleased with myself, it only been broken for 18months!
  8. They do like lowering them to bugger then fitting X-tra wide wheels, don't they? ......hmmmm, that sounds familiar
  9. I did my manifold with just elbow grease.....should have bought a bench grinder....and a bench......and a shed.....and a garden....
  10. G-reg, what looked like a red 16v southbound at Junction 1 on the M6. I was in the queue for the A14 turn
  11. IIRC BBM chargers are 20% more efficient than G-lader chargers, able to produce around 22psi with the right pulley 8)
  12. Looking sweet matey....8) What coilovers you got on it?
  13. G-werks.......only the best for the captains table 8)
  14. I like it - low and wide! Corrado's look good in any colour, I reckon! roo, that's not the engine I was expecting to see in your C!!!
  15. Cheers Chris VR6nos, I'll post some other pics up of the cylinder head porting, when I borrow my Dad's Canon Ixus camera, which is better than the one used originally. Going to post some pics of the port match of inlet manifold too, and possibly pics of the arch rolling in progress that I hope to do next week at some point
  16. It's worth the money then :)
  17. For the Corrado, Audioscape are the puppys to get, but some of the Jehnert stuff is very good as well. Mate of mine taking delivery of his Mini cooper S works in the next few days and he's going for the Jehnert pods 8)
  18. And if it was any good, it would cost a lot more....
  19. Any pics?? I did think about that, as well as smoothing all of it and putting and indicator in the headlight, but wasn't sure of the MOT implications?
  20. Good skills that man. Glad to hear you got it sorted, they sound like a right bunch of cnuts!
  21. Some pics as it stands before I put the Borbet A's on (just washed as well!!) 8) The Senakas that are on it a corroded to buggery, what do I do with them? Get them professionally refurbed, or do I sand them down and paint them?
  22. All the best speakers are European! Scanspeak, SEAS, Focal, Audax, Rainbow, DynAudio to name but a few! You're not wrong Kev I've heard SEAS stuff curtosy of Kev and Audioscape, and they are very good, but not exactly your budget speaker
