Got the money in the bank........unfortunately I've got a wedding to pay for, 4 weeks today... -
I do have to agree there. It's extremely difficult to get a good seal between speaker, pod, card and door

Doing some work on a cruise control module for a few of the new Hyundai's and their pedal ranges have changed from 0-5v to 0-12v to improve resulotion, so I'd imagine that VW may have followed the same logic and done the same in the mk5 pedals, hence your pedal voltage being too low

Yeah, same calipers. Might have to get some knackered 305mm discs and have a go. Cheers Steve, I'll look into that too :)

UPDATE: Parts needed for clutch change etc?
mrbeige replied to Jim Bowen's topic in General Car Chat
There is a good how to on the Wiki for the chains, and apparently isn't too much trouble to do. As far as quicker/cheaper to replace, then that really is up to you. I shouldn't think it'd be cheaper to replace with say an R32, although if you get someone else to do the hard bit (the loom/ECU) then really it's a piece of p1ss to do. Head rebuilds again, aren't that difficult, if you are willing to give it a go. The hardest part would be replacing the guides, but there are a few tricks that will allow you to do that yourself too. Rebuilding the bottom end shouldn't be overly complicated either. New oil pump, bearing shells, rings and a re-hone would set you right, as long as you have got round cylinders, otherwise a machine shop could over bore them a little to sort that out. Doing all that would set you up very well, for at least another 100k miles. Depends on what you want really. Fix what you got, or shell out the extra for something more modern. -

Well, finally she has gone to Corrado heaven....  :salute:
-
I agree, looks awesome :)

It's definitely a possiblity. It's work a go anyway. I had a mate who had two 8 in subs, one in each rear quarter of his mk1 (awesome idea) but he had more bass with one than two!! Make sure you've got a good seal between the door, pod and door card as well.
-
Have you tried running one mid out of phase? I did that when I had some 6x9's in the doors of my mk1.....MASSIVE midbass Is mid open at the back through into the door, or have you sealed the door completely?
-
That could be due to the yellow dim dip resistor between the battery and the headlight. Just try unplugging that. :)
-
And an ugly copy at that! What is it with Peugeot and that bonnet and bumper design, at the moment......bravery pill, possibly; ugly pill, most definitely!
-
I can see how that had the desired effect with you Tom  :camp:

JSB Racing Shiftlight kit - Pre-order for next batch
mrbeige replied to mrbeige's topic in Suppliers Forum
Price is £60 now, well has been since the beginning of the year. The very first batch were £50, but that was 4 years or so ago  Oh and they are available, or will be by the end of next week. Just waiting to order a few components from Farnell Nope, shift point is configurable. :) The wasted spark setup will work as it measures the time between pulses and then uses interrupts to check that the time between the pulses is more or less than your set points. Should work with your setup, no problem :) -
Words absolutely fail me.... The quality of the build is astounding! The bay looks like it rolled out the factory like it.
