  1. Smash one of the windows to break in and then have a miniature scat party in there
  2. If I've got this right, the smaller the number the taller the gearing for the final drive
  3. Looking at these common corrado wheel/tyre sizes, you can see the MK5 platform's RR is loads bigger! 205/50/15 = 1787mm 205/45/16 = 1802mm 205/40/17 = 1817mm 225/45/17 = 1935mm Yup, that'd do it!! Which is a VR6 one and should bolt into the O2S OK? It is, aye :D
  4. What size wheels does the 02S donor car use? Something daft like 215/50/16? 225/45/R17 whic makes them larger rolling radius than the Corrado IIRC Great info, thank you :salute: Would any of the MK5 or A3 2.0TDis have this elusive gearbox? Or do they use the 02M? The GQM box has the lowest final drive - 3.39
  5. I'd imagine that the smaller rolling diameter of the wheels on the Corrado had a lot to do with that :( [EDIT]What was the gearbox code for he 02S? Was it a GQL or GXV, as they have the highest final drive at 3.94.
  6. Yep PM me if you want one :) It uses the rpm pulse and measures the time between them. It's all done in software. You set the first and last LED with the button, by reving your engine to the desired rpm, then pressing the button :)
  7. Looking stunning mate. I really like those BBS alloys that colour! 8)
  8. That's a good plan, given the difficulty of doing the Corrado screens!
  9. I generally get abuse about my Corrado from my work colleagues...or as they like to call it the Corrodo
  10. Your post actually bears more than a passing resemblence to mine.
  11. There was a mini with the wrong type of engine too, IIRC :epicfail:
  12. Just buy a bloody VAG-COM lead Rob!!!!!111111!!!! :camp:
  13. I think he would be the first to admit, it is defo lacking in the 'style' department, but then I don't think many people would get a proper look, when it flies past them!! I have muchos respect for him for doing it all himself, not bad for a 'Shed Built Custom' 8)
  14. Just thought I'd post up some piccies of my mates Trike. Built from scratch, using a motorbike and some choice Sierra parts, for the sum total of £2500 on the road! Weighs in at just over 400kgs and the engine produces 82bhp, so that makes just over 200bhp per ton! :) May I present to SBC Triclone :D
  15. Looking tidy Andy, gutted about the ratchet dent though :(
  16. And me! What's the Otter thing about?  One of the many fetishes that Tom has.... :camp: Crazy controller does sound very interesting, I must say, Dave :study:
