if you have to arrange a courier?? who, how much..etc
mrbeige replied to ben16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
Find a local distribution company. My Dad has used Parcelline, they do pallet sized (and weighted) stuff. Reasonably priced. [/pi$$ed ramblings] -
Very interesting! (At least it is after a bottle of wine and multitude of vodka's and coke) This might be an option for my friend and me to sort out! I'm a software engineer (only just qualified I may add) and my mate is a hardware engineer so to be a perfectionist this may be an option to provide a very stable idle using the stepper motor on the throttle. I'll see how it goes, but as the company I work for works with Ford quite closely (and Aston Martin) this could be a good opportunity to find a solution for super stable idle!! I'll stick the MS on my car and see how it performs.

Is that a bigger compressor than the wires turbo? -
(Just got this another one of my threads.....) Yeah that'd be cool if you could. How would I go about using the stepper idle valve? Would that be in place of my existing idle stabilisation valve? :? I'm using MS I on its own to start with, then going to add the MSnSExtra daughter board that I've bought to run spark, with EDIS coilpack and eventually EGT. Help Dave!!

Made some more prgress with the Megasquirt Clock section done Inputs section Completed Nice shiney box  MSnSExtra Daughter board! Not going to put this on the engine yet, gonna get it running just with fuelling first This came in the post the other day too. AGU inlet mainfold. And this, fuel rail injectors and FPR. £50 for inlet manifold, fuel rail etc which I thought was a good price! Just need Wideband lambda, throttle body, air filter and a bit of Samco!

Yep! Wanted something that bolt startight up if possible. Someone told me that a 2E throttle body would fit?? That's a good question! Not sure, I don't think it can??
-
As title, what will fit? VR6? Mk3 8/16v? I need one for my MegaSquirt conversion!! Cheers
-
AFAIK the oil pick-up and sump are two things that you will need to change. I'm pretty sure davidwort has a 6A bottom end in his Corrado.

I've been quoted £350 fully comp through Brentacre with 7 years NCB, all mods declared etc. surely my premium should be lower than that? BTW Brentacre were the cheapest and John is a really nice bloke!
-
I don't mind travelling if it is for the right car, and to be honest I'd expect to have to!
-
That's a really good price! Need to find one like that!

Mate of mine has a MK1 Golf with a KR engine on twin 40's. Currently its staticly timed. He wants to somehow find a way to either use the vacuum advance or maybe a mapable iginition system. Can anyone suggest how he might do that? The Distributer he has doesn't have a vacuum advance on it. Cheers

 Oooh you cheeky begger

As mrsbeige might be in the market to purchase a Corrado, what would you expect to pay for a 1.8 16v? Mileage not an issue as long as it had been really well looked after with good history.
