It might also be worth considering an ABF block if you are going to use custom management as it will already have a crank wheel (36-1 toothed, I think) for the crank position. Otherwise you could just use a trigger wheel welded between the crack pulley and PAS pulley, and custom mount the hall sensor. Further to the use of the scirroco inlet manifold, if you are force inducing it isn't necessary to have such long runners and may even be detrimental, so it might be worth looking into a custom inlet manifold, or even a cut down s2 manifold. I know that is what JMR did with his.

I didn't think the s2 psitons would fit in 9a block? 9a's have a bore of 82.5mm and IIRC s2 pistons are 81mm bore. You can use s2 pistons in a KR block though.

I like the headlights 8), but I think the indicators and fogs are a little too dark, personally.

You keeping your C now then, Andrew?

I got mine from Farnell, but I haven't a clue which ones they were now... :(

I did my own loom, the relays are mounted just under the front panel, and never had a problem with them. I used one relay for each side (dipped only) and they've never missed a beat...:?

Found a company that do spacer gaskets for £45 but he drop the comp ratio down two points to 8.8:1, not sure if that is too much when running not a huge amount of boost?? Do I really need ARP rod bolts? Kinda loathed to pull the block apart until I can afford forged pistons.....
-
And a very nice one it is too! lol

What are peoples thoughts on using two ABF head gaskets to lower the compression as a temporary measure, so I can get on with the turbo conversion? If it is not a really stoopid idea..... :?

Anyone got any ideas of the best place to get a lambda sensor for my C? I've had a look at GSF and Eurocarparts, but also a place selling direct replacement MGK lambdas they area little more pricey, but include the connector. Are the ones from GSF and the like going to have that plug on? I suspect not....

Christ, how long did this take me to sort out! Well it turned out to be a dodgy connection in the cluster! Replaced the bulb, and is now fine! The bulb still worked, but it was a stop and tail bulb and the locater pins weren't directly oposite each other......
