well over the last few weekends i have been busy on the corrado. 1, dropped the sump and fitted new piston rings after measuring the bores, and was happy to see that they were all in amazing condition with no bore wear at all. 2, fitted the new cylinder head with all new gaskets bolts so no leaks at all 3, fired her up AND It runs and sounds as sweet as any vr6 i have heard, its so quite and with 100% no smoke at all so i'm happy with that, its going for the MOT on thursday and then after i have cleaned her up she will be for sale, i dont want to sell her but needs must i'm afraid to say. so a for sale thread will be put up soon, and want 4k for her which i think is a good price i reckon for her. karl

or a turbo lol

well all i'm gonna say is "better the devil you know" ok it needs some bushes and a service. but its never let you down?? its like saying my wifes titties are sagging a bit so do i go for a younger model?? but i can tell you a younger model will cost you more to maintain in the long run so stick with old saggy titties for a while longer. karl

got these in the post today from the group buy, and i cant see the point in fitting them to a car that A, does not need them (bought them because i was going to keep the car) B, I will be selling the car soon so just want £64 which is what i paid for them Karl
-
ok on a serious note, cant you just put up some taller fencing where your car is parked?? or make a cheap car port?? at least you would have been able to get your car polished while we have had rain everyday the last 3 months.
-
yeh i only remember it as my old man brings it up every time i talk about putting up new fencing, i was a very bad child when it came to fire.
-
i once kicked my ball over the fence and into the next door neighbours garden, i knocked on the door and asked for it back all nicely, the grumpy old c**t told me to f**k off and i was only about 8 at the time, so i took action and went into my dads garage then went onto the field that the gardens backed onto and poured a gallon of petrol onto he's fence and set it alight. 40 minutes later the fire brigade had put the fire out, so i stepped over the no more fence picked up my ball, and said to my neighbour "should have given me my ball back" and smiled at him. God did i get a smacking off my life when the old man found out.

DTA S60 Pro management - ideal for Corrado R32 conversion!
KADVR6 replied to bristolbaron's topic in Parts for Sale
well i paid £550 for kevs old DTA then paid The Phirm £400 for making it fit an R32 engine, then you have to take into consideration the mapping costs, so i would say this is a cheap package for someone wanting a stand alone ECU for a R32 conversion. -
beware boredom and ebay can cost you thousands, especially if you have a corrado.
-
if you think a radiator is hard to do, just wait till your heater matrix needs replacing!!!
-
Chris that would be amazing if you could, i will happily pay postage and any other costs mate. this is what this forum is about, and im gonna miss this if i do sell the car.
-
i do hear what your saying Pete, but was told by vw that they are not available anymore?
-
what is the best and easiest way of fitting them, as can't seem to get hold of the correct vw tool from anywhere. Karl

yeh it was, i really found a bloody good example, going to the docs in the morning as my bloody head is still killing me and shoulders/back/arms, my hip is ok though lol
-
yeh it dont look that bad in the pic but its proper knackered, and the huge crease in the offside rear quarter is my main concern
-
yeh tell me about it, wheres the f*****g rope
-
Its been sent Darren if its not there by the end of today let me no and i will chase up UPS for you. Also today has been a very bad day, on the way to work i got rear ended, and shoved into the car infront of me while parked up at an island, really really not happy at the time to say the least, but so far the insurance company has been great as four hours after telling them about the crash a courtesy car was delivered, just gotta wait and see what the outcome is with the insurance accesor.
-
yeh you need a complete car bra for it LOL
-
will check but pretty sure i have one, will find out and pm you mate, i can send it to graeme also.
