  1. grumpy moods and corrados just go together :( and i understand what you saying just to well Andy, and yeh all the work/hassle you will be putting upon yourself when you can go out and buy an audi a3 3.2 quattro for not alot of money for what your getting. karl, ex r32 wannabe
  2. i'm also going to be doing the OBD2 conversion on mine soon, have you got any wiring diagrams/pictures that would help me do this, many thanks karl
  3. yeh i phoned him, and he is gonna phone me if the first buyer back out, PLEASE if there is anyway you can sway him to sell to me i will be sooooooooooo gratefull :(
  4. too late guys the RK's are sold already. looking at getting some CH's :cuckoo:
  5. try a BMW 330I estate Graham, 245bhp and 230lb standard, i was very impressed when i took one out for a spin last weekend. i'm looking at a 03plate one this weekend thats gonna be selling for about 4.5k.
  6. trust me the bodywork is a right mess at the moment, i put some collinite 915 on it last november, and its never been waxed off, its gonna take days to shift all the grime thats on it :(
  7. cheers Phil, its actually moonight blue, not that i can tell as i'm very very colourblind.
  8. cheers guys, and i do understand what your all saying BUT life in my house has been sooo hard due to me being so touchy/arsey/complete tosser due to the car, i just did not want to have to hurt anymore feelings in the house. i must say that when i actually got the car back, and made the descion to sell the r32 shite i became a nicer person to live with :) so what i'm going to do is get a 2.8 12v engine do the chains etc etc, get it running in the car then slowly get all the parts for vrt, and then go for the C2 managment, which all i have heard is very good things. so for a while it will be just a 2.8 12v, but at least it will be turning its own wheels instead of being pushed :( went to the car today and it does look poorly :( the reason the door's cling filmed up is because none of the windows operate?? must have been something to do with the non re-map, i could phone up and ask if they worked when the car was at stealth, but then again he would say "yeh they were working just fine" yeh just like the F*C*I*G ecu was working when i dropped the car off :censored:
  9. yeh i understand that statement very very well :(
  10. i think these 24v's also need petrol
  11. personally i prefer them with the engine cover on as it looks less "messy" i dont like seeing the leads
  12. well i'm not gonna dwell on it, and yeh tom its very frustrating and it always seems to happen to me, everything i have ever done on any car has been done well, as soon as i go to a specialist it all goes pete tong. and jon the hold up was with getting my downpipe not leaking, but pete at dubpower was a legend in sorting a new one out for me, the new non leaking one was at stealth on the 14th feb which is obviously valentines day, so had ANOTHER row that day also :( and yeh jim i will get the corrado running soon, just need to walk away for a while and did you say get a 16v  never  laters karl
  13. well i got the car back from stealth today, and after over 3 months nothings happened apart from the ecu having to go away and get repaired after 6 of the coil drivers have been blown :( i'm not overly happy with stealth as the ecu was working when it went there, but it had a missfire somewhere, but i thought that was an advantage of standalone ecu's that you could map them out?? or am i wrong?? when it went into stealth it was wired as batched injection (using 3 coildrivers) vince changed it to sequintal injection (using 6 coildrivers) and 6 have blown?? but theres no point in blaming vince as nobody reckons he can do no wrong?? i really cant be arsed with anymore of this r32 conversion as its just causing sooo many arguments in the house at the moment and i had the corrado so i can enjoy driving it, not so i have rows with the missus :( so i have sold the entire r32 set up and just going back to the trusty 12v, i will be getting that turbo'd later in the year so not all is lost, just wished i had done that in the first place instead of going all misty eyed at the r32 conversion :( karl :(
  14. why is everyone changing the r32 alternator bracket for a 12v one?? when i did mine (dont ask :censored: ) i used the r32 alternator bracket with the r32 alternator and the r32 power steering pump, just used a belt for a v6 golf without air-con and that was that. and glad you found out why your gearbox was making a noise pete,
  15. the insurance quote i got was £405 fully comp, so thats ok but yeh BP will be inviting me too there xmas party this year! and just found out the front discs cost £510 a pair

  17. stunning car, it was this car and Guy Hartleys that made me want a corrado.
  18. its just because of the different et's and the fact that i'm also using spacers on the vw fitment BBS (3) alloys.
  19. well i have 100% found the estate car i'm gonna buy, all i can say is its an awesome car to drive, soooo much power and the way you can overtake on the motorway at 90mph is just staggering  heres the car i'm talking about http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... gLetter=02 thoughts.
  20. i have just received an adaptor from this guy (Adam) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLKSWAGEN-VW-WHE ... 240%3A1318 and all i can say is that its superb :D the quality is better than some H&R adaptors i had a while back and the price was great £35 inc postage for a custom made 5/100 - 5/112 24mm thick adaptor. if you need an adaptor you will not get better, he can do all types of adaptors and also any thickness. ie 5/100 to 112/110/114.3/130 and the same for 4/100 karl
  21. sounds like you had a really nice day Jim. not jealous at all

  23. just to confuse you even more, a mates using these brakes on he's 20v mk2 with g60 280mm discs (brembo discs) and the car stops amazingly, i would say better than my 323 brembo's http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WILWOOD-BRAKE-CAL ... 240%3A1318
