  1. Free 16v Space Saver. Hello you lot. Still got the space saver from my now departed valver taking up space in my shed. Tyre's in good condition. Tread fine. No cracks. Free to anyone who can make use of it and is close enough to wn8 to make it worth the trip. Alternatively, I commute every day to L36 (huyton) so could arrange pickup there if any better. Would be a pity to see it go to the tip. Cheers -Ian List Date: 10/13/2014 Location: Skelmersdale, United Kingdom For more info, click here to view the original listing: Free 16v Space Saver. -------------------------------------- This item is no longer available. -------------------------------------- Mobile friendly version: Free 16v Space Saver. 2. Hello you lot. Headlight from my long-gone early valver on the bay. In great condition. Free postage to anyone on here if they give me a shout and I pull it for them. Cheers - Ian http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Corrado-Headlight-/181716281718?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2a4f226976

  4. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181294107568?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Excellent condition from my now deceased car. £45 pick up. £55 Delivered. Cheers.
  5. That looks cool in black. Judging by the tools there I assume you just welded the base onto the seat subframe?
  6. Anyone grafted one of their car's front seats onto the base of an office chair? Looks like it's been done a million times with various other cars, but I'm liking the idea of incorporating a bottle opener into that square handle sticking out from under the cushion. Oh, and spinning round a lot
  7. More fleabay fun. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180876796225
  8. I rarely get down your neck of the woods without seeing at least one Ger. See hardly any locally. The people of Wales have them all! Ha ha. Think it's too far gone. Even beforehand it didn't stand up to really close inspection. Poorly filled arches and the like. Donor car only now I feel. Shame. Where you based then James, and do you use your Rado much? As above.. Not seen any round here for ages.
  9. Saw possibly the same blue VR in Pwllhelli myself last year. Even flyered it for the forum! Got a caravan at Aberdaron, so I'm round that neck of the woods a fair bit. There defo seems to be a good few in N Wales. Yeah, still got mine. Had a catalogue of fails on its last mot which I never got round to sorting. Shame really. Didn't know you knew my car mate. A bloke who once fitted an immobiliser did, and said one of the mechanics at Rigby Turner St Helens owned it for a while. Sounds about right as it's got their stickers in although I'm pretty sure they didn't originally supply the car.
  10. I wish I could go in the Corrado mate. The poor thing's ready for the knackers yard though. Audi's gone now too. Ha ha.. I really should sort my sig out! Anyway.. Roll on the Vaynol arms. I love getting on the pop in Abersoch.
  11. Bought this in error for my early valver and it's been taking up space in the spare room for far too long now. If anyone on here wants this and I end the auction, the tenner saved on selling fees gets passed on. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180867455024
  12. Not now mate.. Hard enough running a boggo car these days. (should update my sig). Gutted I'm gonna have to part company with it. Even though it's been stood for ages I'm soon not even technically gonna be a Corrado owner. Boo. Still besotted with the things though. Miss the mutual wave when you pass another, and in the unlikely event I ever find myself with a spare few grand in my back bin I'll be back into one like a shot. ;-)
  13. Thanks for your help gents. This has now gone.
  14. I'm getting away camping to Abersoch in 3 weeks. Will keep an eye out for your car mate. If you see some random drunk tourist pointing and giving a thumbs up don't be too worried. ;-)
  15. Hello all. Been a while since I've been on here. Hope you're all good. Taken the Milltek off my C and stuck on fleabay today, as I sadly need to wave byebye to the car. It's off a 1.8 KR, but (as I waffle on about in the ad) googling the part numbers seem to point to it being for a 2.0 or even the G60 (bit confusing really). Anyone familliar enough with these systems to clear it up for me? I'll tailor the ad once I know for sure. Cheers for any input. Ian http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180863563246
  16. Bombed down to Chester after work yesterday and chucked the new coil on. First turn of the key it was away. Nephew was made up (then promptly stung me for a tenner) ha ha Appreciate the suggestions lads. (Looks like I won't be needing the dizzy now Tom but cheers anyway mate) :)
  17. Thanks for the replies lads, and that's a top how-to you've linked to there Tom. Think I'm gonna try the coil first. Failing that I'll more than likely take that whole dizzy off you Tom. It'll at least save me a job of swapping out the hall sender. My nephew's at uni in Chester which means he (and the car) are about 40 miles away, so the less work I have to do when I get down to it the better. One more thing though, had a look on VagCat and it shows 2 coils. 1 & 1a here. What's the difference? There's a few of both available on ebay.
  18. Cheers Steve. Suspected the coil. Hall sender (that's known as the knock sensor too isn't it?) Is that a full new dizzy mech, or replaceable part within it. My early valver doesn't have one so not too familliar with the things. Ha ha :)
  19. Hello you lot. Would appreciate some advice please. I'm a thick person. Nephew's got a mk3 1.0 polo and the bleeding thing refuses to start. Last time it ran he said it was rough and losing power. Foot to the floor but still slowing. Pulled over, engine off and restarted. Not 100% but got him home. He changed plugs and seemed ok until a day or so later the same thing. Got it home, switched off, now there's no convincing the thing to fire up again. I get a call to have a look as he knows nothing (but that's only marginally less than me) Plugs are new but I changed them anyway along with dizzy cap & rotary arm, then swapped my leads off the Audi with his. Mine ran fine but his still a no-go. It sometimes gives a half-hearted couple of chugs after cranking but never catches. Can smell petrol when giving it loads of pedal, so there's fuel flowing. Tested each lead with a plug onto the engine and all sparked. That's the usual suspects. What's the next most likely culprit? Thanking you muchly much for any suggestions. Ian.
  20. Hope it wasn't a pressure build up because of a HG failure that caused the hose to split. :?
  21. Saysomestuff. How well do you know the bloke who bought it? Could you persuade him to let it go to Scarlett & GradeA? Says it all.
  22. An uprated headlight loom will pretty much sort that. If you go to Halfrauds, make it just to buy some uprated bulbs to compliment one with. KUR2Y on here was flogging them a while back. Not sure if he's still around. Maybe someone else is the loom-king nowadays. Best 40 odd quid I ever threw at my car, anyway.
