  1. Sounds awfully like it mate. :( 4 to 5 ton is ballpark for a hg job.
  2. Storm (and Pearl) Grey are the 2 best Corrado colours imo. Nice find mate. 8)
  3. Vardo, your car's a thing of beauty, mate. Derran Brown couldn't convince me to get shut of that particular 'Rado. Broke or not, I'd have it sat on my drive.
  4. Don't even get me started mate. Mine's been pretty much stood for 6 months, only need to sit in an turn the blighter over to get the love flooding back. There's light at the end of the tunnel now though. Nice new mortgage sorted the other day with a few $$ over for *Cough* Home Improvements (Yeah right. How much is it to go turbo?) :D
  5. Ah, right. Not so brave then.  Go on... One of me on me jollies in front of the fridge-magnet cool wall. 8) (Gutted there were no 'Rados in the pack)
  6. One more here for that. Kacked myself, but nothing seemed to be damaged.
  7.  Aw man... That's gonna haunt you! ;)
  8. Which garage you using mate? How mad does it make you when something like that happens? And did they give you any idea what was up??
  9. Looks v nice mate. What exhaust is that? Don't think I've seen one of those before.
  10. Howdy mate. Most of the things to watch out for are in your list, (apart from sunroof issues, but that's another story). Think the rear axle bushes will be the biggest wallet stinger out of that lot, but well worth doing from what I've read. Welcome to the wonderful world of Corrado ownership! :thumbleft:
  11. Could iron me kecks on the bumper overhang. Luvvin that.
  12. Yeah. Lovely looking motor mate. Did you find it off the forum or the trader? Looks blue in the pics. What shade?
  13. With you all the way on that Cant wait to be a Cnut again.
  14. Don't knock an overhead support timber off the inside of your garage roof whilst manouvering something large carefully down the side of your parked up C, only concentrating on not scratching the side panels. Overhead support timbers (when knocked) tend to fall off in amazing slow motion and put 2" dents in parked up Corrados bonnets! Ohhhhh the mist...
  15. Reckon you should sit tight if you've still got transport mate. Biggest mistake to be made when after a (relatively) rare car like the Corrado is being pressured into buyin a dog. Resign yourself to possibly having a long drive to see a goodun, but the for sale section along with the pre-viewing thread should turn you one up before you're old and grey. There's load of helpful types on here. Ask niceley, and ye shall recieve.
  16. Have you no shame?? :| Nope and very few morals either... As Mr B himself would say.... Good skills! 8)
  17. Ah yes, I've got him on speed dial 1 on my works phone.  Even if I did, I'm sure he'd be far too busy (not to mention big & scary) to be getting bothered by me over a poxy wishbone. Just thought I'd see if the folk on here could Fact Me Till I Fart [\daytoday]
  18. Yippee... MOT drudgery time for the Barge. Need a few bits and bobs to fix, but just wanna double check with GSF that a wishbone I've ordered is correct before it's too late to change for the weekend. Their website didn't have a dead cert match, and you know when you just get that feeling?? Anyway. The Part: Offside front wishbone. Car: H reg Audi 80 E. (1989-1991 model) 1.8 SPi (PM Engine code) PAS, No ABS, Manual, Saloon, er... Blue?? If anyone with the nesessary would like to help me out, it'd be muchly appreciated. :thumbleft: Ta.
  19. That chef bloke would've had a field day with that much roadkill. As above though, nightmare, but could've been much worse. Picking lumps of fur covered venison out the front can't be tons of fun though.
