i've always thought that this forum lacked a movies section... *shouts out to admins to think about a section for posting urls to movies (stored remotely)*

software dev for the NHS... the joys
-
I've long been a fan of the VR6 - but actually driving one changes everything... After I'd driven one for the first time, my mates disowned me because I couldn't stop talking about anything else...
-
pm me with the details mate ;)
-
My landlord has f**ked off to africa for 4 weeks without giving me the password to the wireless network so I can't get online out of work!!! man, some people... hardly C related - but close to Phat's frustrations with his work/internet restrictions...
-
it is that mate - certainly find it more level headed than other forums
-
does look damn good zarman. you'd just hope some muppet didn't drive into your front end though :(
-
cheers for the help and suggestions fellas, i'll have to sit it out i think and wait for another 10 months to pass.
-
right cheers Rodders, i'll keep that in mind I've only been driving for the year... bloody late starter me... even a 1.8 16v is something like 3K. and my current 1.4 brava is something like 1800!!! i nearly died its really just the jump between Scotland and NI prices that are literally staggering
-
25 in november - i was a named driver last year so ncb is 0. scotland prices - 1100 this year, 690 next year. NI prices - 3830 this year, 2400 next year!!! honestly... being a named driver over the last year meant that car costs were cheap as, but regretting it now somewhat... i'm thinking positive *corrado next year then, corrado next year then* lol
-
portglenone - 5 mins down the road mate. been away for years though so doubt i would know her... the cost of the car aint the problem though, its the insurance thats the killer, else I would have a VR6 by now :( its looking like its a run around for a year then back to the C hunting - its f**king depressing mate
-
not far from maghera if thats familiar? Admiral seem to be the cheapest so far - by quite a bit too.... insurance prices over in NI are ridiculous tbh
-
cheers mate - i'll look em up
-
Have any of you NI owners found someone comparatively cheaper than others?? I've been looking all day and have been totally horrified at the quotes! At least 3 times what I'm paying in Scotland any names appreciated :)
-
nice :D
-
hmm - i like the standard tbh
-
well i would suggest test driving a few more times... good decisions aren't rash ones so try em out some more then let time do the deciding for you. after all its not like the storm is going to go out of fashion too quickly now :D
-
Agree with that. Commend the effort, but my initial opinion was 'wtf!!!' - followed by 'man thats hideous!'...
-
 too funny
-
one nice big microphone
-
which RamAir have you guys used exactly?
-
whatever you do - dont reply!! if you do, then you've just confirmed to them that your email address is valid and you can expect to be hassled again and again and again.....

Having so many sticky topics kills discussion in this forum
_leon_ replied to spoier's topic in Suppliers Forum
getting back to the original post - imho the forum acts as a v good info resource - the stickies save the frequent repetition commonly found elsewhere on other forums... and yeah the Recent Topics section on the home page is all you need... Note: this would be useful on the forum home page too (ie where you're redirected to after you login...) -
a friend owns a 944 - absolutely beautiful and sounds somewhat amazing. only thing to consider with this car is the cost - its substantial... over 2 years this guy has now collected a fat book of receipts, many of which hit over 600-700 quid... its reserved for the very dedicated!!
